Hope no one minds me starting a new game.
I'll start by tagging someone and asking them to make something once they have done it and posted they tag someone and so on.
You must try and post with in a week!
Don't tag the same person in a row so leave about a 3 model gap before tagging someone who has already had a go!
You can't post a pic which is already on the forum!
please pm the person you tagged!
Also let us know if you want to play otherwise it will get stale.

To get the game going again, I tag Thelma to make a camel.

Just went to check email before going to bed and had a message telling me I had been tagged to do the camel. So I was really pleased to be tagged. Decided to make the camel instead of going to bed. It is made with two balloons and I added a little green scrap for some grass and a small scrap for the eyes. So the head neck and hump are one balloon and the body and legs are another. I will go to bed and think who to tag in the morning.
I love the way you have done the neck and hump, it's the best Camel I've seen.
So does Thelma now ask someone else to make something?

No I used one balloon at a time, the heart method uses 3 or 4 balloons being twisted at the same time.

Sorry for the delay - I had two speaking engagements this week at opposite ends of the country and three shows this weekend to prepare for - It's very basic but I use this guitar in line work and it goes down well.

You know my first ant,...well the only one untill today almost costed me a new laptop.
But,....I'm in for a challenge.
So, I had my drinks downstairs while I made this ant. Just to be sure and to make it an even harder challenge,...I made it very small. But look what's happening in my kitchen now!

Just looked in on this thread now I have finished my Christmas run. Petra I love the ant. Made me smile. Nice thinking with the cup Dave. I did a Geni in a lamp once using a similar technique. The Dragon looks like a baby one - has a cute look, don't you think John? When I get home from Wales I will see if I can dig the Geni out of my files. This is a good game. Nice to see everyone getting involved.

I'm really, really sorry, I'll have to drop out at the moment but will join in again soon. At the moment, I'm up to my eyes in charity work. Organising a Sponsored Walk event for kids and a golf tornament to both raise money as well as organising my Belarus/Ukraine tour in May/June

Sounds like there is a creative wind coming along. I know what you mean about the inspiration you get from the forums but also going it alone has its upside. I twisted for 12 years before I discovered the forums and it was such a buzz when I did. But I do think working solo makes you find your own style. Once you find it though getting your head together with a lot of other (air heads) is priceless.

Ok here it is. I do have to admit that I have absolutely no interest in vans and thiings like that. I was really looking forward to a challenge and then saw Volks Wagon and thought "oh bum" So you will have to excuse how simple it is. I just thew it together and scrawled the artwork on! The bumper is far too high.
Well hopefully I will get asked to do a girly balloon some time. Sorry this one isnt much of a model.

I understand but you are not off the hook Ngee Kee. You have to make one and send it to my personal email address. I won't show anyone so you can make as bad or as good a job as you like but you do have to try or I will have to think of a punishment!!! I really don't think it matters how good or bad a model is. ITs nice to see a good model, yes. But I do believe it is having a go that is the important thing. No one will laugh and say "oh what is that???!!!!" I really would like to see some of you people who just look in and don't feel you can join in to have a go. It is a fun game and a great way to let yourself be pushed gently into finding your creative streak. So let me think, Who posts comments but does not post models.?....... Well Martin, I guess I asked for it. Maybe I should have said "I'd like a "practical" challenge." lol... The house requested would make a great competition piece. If I ever attend a convention in your area how about we build it together?? As for making simple versions, there are ways, but they are not very practical for me. I wrote up directions for castle on Balloonhq a while back. It could be done using the same techniques. I'm going through this practical phase of my balloon adventures right now and it's not very fun. (has this happened to anyone else??) So Martin, please don't be mad at me. I wouldn't call this stumped, just not up for such a giant challenge at the moment with such a busy schedule. Plus, my lovely wife is pregnant. I don't dare have any balloon messes around the house so it's a bit hard to play... With that said... Tonya contacted me with a challenge for a school bus and I remember making a semi simple bus a while back. Here are the pics.. Feel free to contact me for a walk through if needed. Also in my portfolio is a video of a school bus made for a trade show. Martin, thank you so much for the tag. Im sorry if I dissapointed. And Im not sure if Im qualified to tag someone else at the moment. If so, I tag Brian Asman to make something kooky!!

Would I have liked that challenge? Well I'd certainly like the time to try it, but like you that time is hard to some by. Now you have pointed me to your BalloonHQ column I might try to do it someday soon though.

I actually posted a note in the balloon tutorial thread asking for a bus, and since I hadn't gotten any response, I emailed Jack asking if he had done one before.
And thank you Jack for posting your bus, that gives me some ideas...and yes, I'm going through a "practical phase" right now also...that's why I asked for a restaurant style (quick and easy) school bus instead of going overboard like normal...lol
Please don't feel bad Tonya! It was an unreasonable challenge and I love the bus... I really struggle with vehicles and so it is nice to see a useable example.
okay cool, thanks Martin...the bus is a great usable design...I can't wait to try it too. It's much more like a vehicle than mine turned out (mine was more like a "transit style" bus. I think I'm going to try to combine mine and his and see what I come up with. Thanks again Jack...you're the best!
