Since The Millennium Jam in November I've been in discussion with Don Caldwell, http://acmeballoon.com/html/don_index.htm
to see if we can get him over to the UK to do the "David Grist Memorial lecture" for 2009 & this looks likely to happen in the first week of June.

Again depending on numbers we will do either one day in Birmingham or a day in the south & a day up north.
No fixed price has been sorted out as yet but at a guesstimate the day will cost approx £40 with Don doing a full day hands on lecture workshop. The day will run form 10 till 6 with Don lecturing 10.30 till 1.oo & 2.oo till 5.oo.
We will sort out all the details when over at twist & shout in early Feb.
So it would be nice to get an idea of those that would like to attend Don's lecture as I need to decide on one lecture or two.

I'll be there as well - if it's down South, Normski will will justy have to mix with this lower class guy trespassing on his territory    ;)

Will keep an eye open for the date.

I'm in too... again the North would be preferable, but otherwise would be okay for Birmingham

I'm up for it - being in the Midlands I'm flexible on venue - being on the borders of lower upper middle class and middle upper lower class I'll mix with anyone  :D  :D

We'll be there regardless of venue - it would be more than worth the travel.
