Hi all, I attended my first care and share day last week and I loved it. Unfortunately the other days are either too far away or on days I'm otherwise engaged. I would like to meet more people and jam together. I was wondering is there was any twisters in the north east area? I'm based in Lancashire and can travel to the surrounding areas as well. So my question is are there any jams already happening? I've looked and can only find posts about jams up here that are at least a year or 2 old.

Doh...    so sorry you just missed a full weekend (that must have been on your doorstep) dedicated to twisting,  Starring Twistina and partner Twistopher held in Blackpool over this weekend gone (Blackpool Balloon Bash).

It was great to meet so many people from all over the country (and Ireland - Cheers David for reminding me of a lot of "forgotten" things) that were so dedicated to either learning or picking up more skills, the one to one training was really appreciated especially with Twistina and Twistopher (Christine and Mike thanks for the help and company at dinner).  

Sadly I could not spend as much time with everyone as I would have liked (in case the wife see's this - she does not share my love of latex) due to spending time with my lovely better half, BUT .... next time... 24/7 !!
 
OOps I drivel on.... :oops:    and don't want to steal any thunder from the organizers should they wish to post about the event.....

Anyway Benjamin one of the many things I took away from the spectacular weekend that I will remember is there is a need for an occasion or two to take place over a weekend ....... catch 22 for Professionals since most of their work is done on the weekend.

If anyone plans, creates or starts up any informal jams for a weekend in or around the "Northern Counties", please share....

check out Shirley Rays website and contact her... she often has jams in Leeds... I believe in the Evenings and not far from the place you went to
