There will be 13 instructors at the day and it looks like it will sell out as a third of the tickets have already gone so if you are thinking of attending you may want to get your ticket sooner rather than later. There will b some amazing prizes in the raffle as well so look out for the information on this which should be available in the next seven days.
A picture with all those taking part,
Everyone should book this one..

Just booked! Really looking forward to it!
I have booked too:-)
There are only 15 spaces left on the day so you will need to book asap, they are stopping at 75.
The event is down to single figures for spaces left so if you were sitting on the fence this is a good time to jump off and book.
have just taken the splinters out and booked, just hope I can sit down now :)
I have just started to make the four models that I'm showing at the day. None have been taught as yet and only three have been posted onto the forum.
Only one will get explained at the day, trouble is which one?
Fingers crossed they will last and look OK for Tuesday, plastic bags here they come.
how I wish I could attend but I am a few thousand miles away.....all the best to this event and looking forward to seeing all the photos .. :)
What a fabulous day! I enjoyed all the tutors and I got a lot from the day (even as a twister!). There was such a generous and friendly spirit in the room. It was really something special and I was very happy to be a part of it. What a great community we belong to.
Feeling the balloon love,
Tess
I have just got home myself from the event, I stayed at Thelma's last night and we twisted Geo's all day today and got a couple more things for the new DVD coming out soon.
When I say soon that is within maybe the next year ;)
There certainly was a cross section of designs for both twister and decorator and raffle prizes, well I lost count at how many prizes there were. I won three but one was one of the BAG DVD's that I donated so we put that back into the raffle and someone bought it for £35 so that was nice. I think Keith, one of the instructors bought it. I do have many pictures form the day so will start posting them shortly.
Sorry if I did not get around to chat with everyone but there was so much going on and little time for a chin wag what with taking pictures and getting ready myself.
I think everyone must have got something from the day, so what was everyone's favourite, I liked the design by Fiona Fisher, simple, elegant and I think very usable in the real world but then again I'm no decorator but that was the one that caught my eye.
I took 5 designs up with me and the dog is the new one that I made a few weeks back and did not post,
we changed the design again today and I think now I'm happy with the way it looks.
The other two idea's and Luc getting the aero pole arch ready,
The second picture made me laugh, can anyone spot it?
Some pictures from behind the scene's,
The feet were changed in the two elephant pictures, more shaping on the second one,
And a little baby elephant as well, Mark and Linda sorted the raffle prizes out all day and there were many and kept it moving along nicely.
Julie won one of the raffle star prizes, I think it was the mag pole.
Martin won quite a few prizes on the day and also put some back into the auction which was very nice of him so that more money was raised for the appeal.
Thelma was the third lecture of the day,
Everyone working away with Thelma's Levett link minion design,
A nice picture of Tess,
The minion was a big hit at the day,
Some more from the day
More photos from the day
The first picture is Shirley Ray's creation
Finally this one by Tope Abulude
IT was set against a fussy background so I took the background out.
More from the event, money raised at the moment is over £8500 so that is excellent.
The first two pictures were from Tope and then Shirley made the teddy,
Everyone trying hands on with the teddy and my attempt as well,
I think we are coming up for my favourite design of the day,
I thought Fiona's design was very usable in the real world but bear in mind I do not decorate but it hit the spot for me.
Alberto with his reindeer and Luc and his butterfly's,
Luc explained the arrow column,
These are the last pictures from the day,
