Sabina is one very talented lady and like many of the other events we put on is definitely one not to be missed.
A couple of pictures of Sabina and her work,

The first day will be filmed for club members.
WOW, what an absolutely incredible two days. I am so grateful to Sabina for sharing some brilliant ideas and concepts and for lecturing for the two full days. It was lovely to meet some old friends, make some new ones with many laughs along the way.
Two days in Birmingham and I come home with a baby in a pram - I have some explaining to do to the wife!
Oh, and my volume 2 Beating book was drenched by a bottle of water in my car - that was an expensive mistake.
Thanks to Lynne for the plate spinning lessons, to Graham for supplying the projector and long lasting microphone batteries, to Dan for the loan of his smurf body, to Kevin for my competition 'hot dog' entry, to my new Pug friend and to Rob for sweeping the floor despite having a dodgy hand.
I even met some celebrity friends... Mr Tumble, Steve Davis and Aunt Sally in a local cafe whilst having breakfast.
It's good to be back.
It was a very enjoyable two days, felt like we were the naughty boy's and girls at the back of the class. Darren was great to see you again and share some laughs.
thank you Graham for all your hard work it is appreciated
I had an amazing couple of days in Birmingham and even though it did end up costing me a small fortune in hotel bills it was worth every penny. Learnt so much and had a good laugh too, such a great crowd. Can't wait for the next one :) :) :)
I had an awesome time this week, thanks to everyone who made it such a good couple of days :D
We got home around 11.30 last night, a 15 minute hold up on the M40 due to an accident and then there was
a "Q" on the M25 from 11 to 10 so we went off via Woking so got held up for 30 mins altogether so not too bad.
Many thanks to all who attended, I think we had approx. 30 there.
For the biscuits and cakes people bring, helping us in and out with the stock and keeping the hall tidy.
Thanks to all, much appreciated.
Another fab two days, I always say that but to me they are fabulous and I thought Sabina went
beyond expectations over the two days, THANKS Sabina xx
Spent the day catching up with orders and emails and now onto the next event, planning for Manchester,
Northampton, Lincoln and then Back to Birmingham. The next event will be September sometime.
Off to sort the pictures out
A few pictures, well quite a few. I took over 440 but many are doubles.
Steve with his caribbean blue dolphin.
It was a very sea type first session with the fish, dolphin and lobster.
My attempt at the dolphin.
Sabina explained the tail in two different positions for when making a group of dolphin's.
Roger made the dolphin hat, when I took a picture it was always moving.
Everyone making the butterfly.
I think this was my attempt at the butterfly Sabina showed,
the way the wings were attached was very interesting and un-usual.
My 3D printer made the rubbish attachment for the McPump :) ;)
Ine made a variation and Sabina mentioned her unique pump during the two day event.
Thelma's backdrop came in handy for some pictures.
More on the backdrop.
Darren turned the fish into a little scene with the loop weave technique as well being used.
Sabina's flower and then my attempt......oops, this is just the one I made.
Some variations, I think that is a big place with the group, one design is taught and then many go off
at tangents making a few variations.
Sabina was explaining the loop weave technique that she came up with in 2008,
although I thought it was earlier............see time flies as they say.
Ine changed the colours of the mouse that Sabina showed.
Thelma's mouse variation and Sabina's smurf.
looks like it was a fantastic event...very much looking forward to my BAG video
Loved the days with Sabina. Great workshop. Thank you for organising it Graham.
Flotilla of shops
9 months after the power cut
combining Sabina's Angels with her flowers.
Thanks to everyone for letting me take the balloons home for my events. It saved my life!
The angels look fab Thelma and very nice artwork.
My attempt at the Smurf, Amanda did the artwork for me.
Thelma's Mouse.
Someone turned the butterfly into a ?
It was then onto Wetherspoon's for the evening session after the meal.
More from the Tuesday night.
Amanda's new ladybird bag and her pug.
They were attempting to make a banana for the monkey............I'm saying no more.
Rob as a cyber man.
Rob made the frog and someone taking some light refreshment back to their room,
I promised I would not say who it was, he he.
The last ones from the Tuesday night.
Dave made the Fox and the Dog's head and I think Ine the mouse.
Some people spent the evening twisting again back at the hotel.
Darren purchased the Beating book Vol 2 and is doing a review of it here on the forum and made the parrot.
David was explaining his Y body.
We were so busy on the first day there was no time for our usual competition.
So I made sure that on day two we started really early and the theme was dogs.
I even made one to enter BUT then forgot to enter it........oops!
Mine was the second picture here,
which was an upscale variation on a one balloon dog I showed Tuesday night in the pub.
Sabina started the day with her shy bunnies.
We then all went sailing.
With a few late additions.
Some nice little mask additions, the pirate flag and bird.
Frogs was the next order of the day.
Frogs and boats everywhere.
A few dogs started to appear for the competition.
It was then onto flower weaving.
Dan made the angry bird and Amanda, sobered up from the night before ;)
A nice picture of Sabina and another shot of Rob's dog in progress.
Thanks to Thelma for bringing her new backdrop along for all to get better pictures.
We also used it for the videoing as well.
Roger made the scotty looking dog with bowl.
There were heart flowers everywhere, this was only part of the 6 petal flower design.
Sabina showed some interesting concepts with the idea.
Then it was onto babies.
There were un-attended babies everywhere.
I think everyone made a baby and pram design, it seemed very popular.
Thelma's dog for the competition, a pram as a rocker.
Even more babies.
And MORE!
After making all those babies we had to relax and it was then competition time.
Dogs was the order of the day with some really nice designs, thanks to all who made them and took part.
Amanda lost her dog, this was very funny but you had to be there.
Ine adding a few techniques that were learnt over the two days.
Thelma had two entries.
Amy had a small ring dog, I only got a blurry picture unfortunately.
Steve and Olivia's designs.
Samantha and Donny's designs, both new club members all the way from Glasgow :)
Hirsha was sort of press-ganged into entering, in the nicest possible way.
Darren entered Kevin's hot dog as Kevin had to leave early.
I think nearly everyone joined in the competition.
Dave made a few entries, the red one was a greyhound. I did not get the best angle picture of it.
Me taking a picture of Dave having a selfie with everyone.
Dan was back with his stick :)
Roger had a couple of entries and one of the dogs had a little accident ;)
And the winner of the Dog competition was Rob, well done and thanks to everyone for taking part.
It helped to make the day.
This might have been my attempt at the angel that Sabina showed, not 100% sure.
A few more pictures from the last session of day two.
A close up of the hair from the princess/girl.
The dress was made form the heart flower design.
The last ones from the event, thanks to Sabina for coming over, all that attended and made
the days and events what they are. Very much appreciated................Thank you!
