Happy to now confirm the next two day star lecture days.
This will be the David Grist Memorial lecture and will be in Sutton, Surrey.
Linda will be running the workshops on Mon 3rd July
Doctor Bob will be on the Tuesday 4th July.
The Tuesday will be filmed for club members.
I will be adding the booking details to the website shortly.
Doctor Bob's website is, http://www.balloons-unlimited.com/ (http://www.balloons-unlimited.com/) facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/BobArmstrongdoctorbob (https://www.facebook.com/BobArmstrongdoctorbob)
Linda's facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/linda.twisted (https://www.facebook.com/linda.twisted)
Just planning all the designs that will be shown.
Here are a couple from Linda and I have to say this is the posh'est I have ever gotten the product list.
My ears pricked up as well when the first design was a Panda, you can never get enough panda designs ;-)
Only a week to go before this years David Grist Memorial lecture.
Still time to book for next Monday and Tuesday,
if you could share the details about the event on Facebook pages that would be great.....
Thanks, http://www.balloonartwholesale.co.uk/ba ... hare-days/ (http://www.balloonartwholesale.co.uk/balloons/care-share-days/)
Guess who is in the house?.............................................................
I'm really looking forward to coming to these.
Is there parking at the football club? Thanks :)
Sorry for late reply, I have been out working today, well working,
playing about with balloons.
Yes there is plenty of free parking.
Thanks to all who attended the two day event in Sutton and to those who brought a few nibbles as well.
Much appreciated, thanks to Linda and Bob for sharing your balloon knowledge and ideas with everyone.
Hope you both enjoyed the experience.
Today is catching up day with things but will try to start posting the pictures ASAP.
A huge thank you to Graham, Lyn, Linda and Bob for another two cracking days of balloon tuition. :D
Many thanks once again to a great couple for another great couple of days away. Linda and Bob for showing us some more ways to use the product we love, and giving us more food for thought. I was able to take some pictures over the course of the two days and will hopefully get the time to post on here later. It was great to see friends old and new as always, especially Graham & Lyn to whom I do owe so much. :-)
The first of a few pictures before getting up at 5am tomorrow to drop Linda and Marie
off at the station as I double booked myself an AM school show as well tomorrow.
Linda T and I had a little play the night before and Monday Morning all packed and ready to go to the venue.
All set up and we are off with Linda's very first workshop.
My attempt at Linda's cat.
Someone being a little naughty with Danny's cat
Linda smiling away ;)
I think I made the cat but not 100% sure.
Linda moving onto the squirrel.
More squirrels.
This is Chris in the red T Shirt, he came all the way from Australia for the workshop.
Usually Hirsha from Singapore travels the furthest but we now have a new world record with Chris.
Oh and that is Rob in the picture as well.........................from Portsmouth ;)
plus the squirrel that I made with his nut.
The mess some people make, he he.
Phileas was in the UK Sun on Monday and I did see that he was also
appearing on the UK weekend show but I missed that.
The poor body less panda...............he looks so sad!
Linda and her finished Panda, the next one is my effort and then
I took a few pictures of other panda's sitting around the room.
Last of the Panda's and then It was onto the completion, you had to have a red, black and goldenrod
in the design as these are the colours of the German flag where Linda is from.
Kat and her bird. Danny's upside down flower.
Ine and her German hot dog. Steve and his roller skating bird.
Dave and part of the German flag that he made, there was some light hearted fun
as we checked with Linda if this was on the flag and what it was called.
Elaine has only been twisting for six weeks so it was nice that she joined in with the competition.
Rob and his buxom wench.
Hirsha and her flower design.
Chris all the way from Australia with his headband design.
Manjula with her flower design
Dzintars and Mickey Mouse
Amy and her dog entry and Dan with his stick and flag.
Thanks to all who enter the competition,
I really enjoy them and hopefully they do add to the day?
And the winners were Ine and Elaine.
Elaine was for best newcomer and for joining in although she has only been twisting for six weeks.
Ine won the star prize, a T-Shirt and bag of my scraps.
Thanks to Olivia for donating the DVD prize for Elaine.
The winners designs.
Then it was onto Linda's gnome design.
Some more gnomes/santas etc.
Kat brought along her jewellery collection,
if anyone would like to get in touch with Kat then this is her facebook page.

The last ones from Linda and day one.
It was then onto day two with Doctor Bob.
The lady bug and butterfly were the first two designs showed.
I think I made the butterfly from Bob's instructions, it was interesting the body technique he used.
Bob kept adding to the flower design during the day.
The random mousse was for the competition later in the day.
It was the onto TNMT. The last picture was my effort on Bob's design.
My turtle from the back and then I think the second one is Roger's.
It as then onto wearables with Bob.
It was a fun session that I enjoyed.
Then it was the wearable TMNT design.
Thanks to Rob for volunteering or was it being press ganged?
You was enjoying it though Rob............just look at that little smile ;)
It was then the ride in horse.
I only realised last night after going to the city of London balloon jam that I posted
my ride in horse onto BalloonTube on Sunday. I'd like to say it was inspired from
seeing Bob's design the other week but we filmed the tutorial a few months back now.
The whole of 2017 has already been filmed and we add a tutorial every other week.
I'd better not say the comments Dave was getting as he tried to fit the horse around his waist.
This was a funny session with everyone seeming very keen to make a ride in horse.
More from the horses.
There were horses everywhere.
And more horses and variations.
And on the racecourse.................I mean the football pitch but it doubled up well for the pictures.
I will post everyone of the outside pictures I took so that anyone who would like a picture
can send me the number and I will send over the original which will be better quality.
Horses everywhere.
More horses.
The last few of the horses, this is the one I made.
It was then onto the competition and as it was 4th July the theme was America.
Olivia is laughing away here.
There was a great selection of designs for the competition.
The native indian head dress has a better picture later on that I will post.
Still on the competition pieces.
We even let some people enter the competition twice, we are very flexible...............
but generally do not do a Thursday workshop.
The above does not work in text.
And Roger was the winner from the something American theme.
His wall and fireworks with someone looking over,
thanks to all who took part and helped make the day more fun.
Roger one a bag of scraps, a genuine sushi key ring all the way from Japan donated
by Olivia plus a balloon modelling T shirt, no wonder he looks so chuffed.
Not sure who made the TNMT, Olivia's fake news baby.
And the last session with the wearable ride in car in various sizes.
These are the last of the pictures that I took,
if anyone else attending the day wanted to add a few picture.........................
well that would be very nice.
Thanks to Linda and Bob for running the days, everyone who brought a few
nibbles along and all those that helps set the room and carry the product in and out.
Much appreciated and thanks.
The next care & share days are in Scotland Airdrie on Sept 5th
and then in Birmingham on 7th Sept with the "Levett & Lee" Roadshow.
