Title: Kidology 24/25th Sept 2018
Post by: Graham Lee on July 20, 2018, 10:21:19 PM
The Children's magic convention is taking place again in Birmingham.
It is a fun two day event with plenty going on and we do need to
support the conventions otherwise they will all die out.

Just back from the Kidology magic convention,
the workshop seemed to go OK which I was pleased about.

The idea of the workshop was to show the designs that all had a similar
body, legs and feet structure so if you learnt that you could change the
colour and head to make a few different designs.

These are from the children's competition.
I forgot to take a picture of the first act, it was Timmy from Portsmouth.

Then it was the evening cabaret which I enjoyed, the one man band was very funny
although I did not know a few of the sing along songs but was humming away.

Then it was the singer who had them all up dancing and then
Morgan and West who were excellent.

The last picture from the Morgan and West lecture which was excellent.
I did not get a picture from the Steve Rowe workshop which was on Close
up Magic for Children, I did hear back it was a very good workshop though.
