Yes congratulations Stuart, didn't get a chance to say well done yesterday, but Thelma has point, from where I was sitting the weave looked great, you managed to take something from both classes and combine them to make your entry. Looking forward to meeting you again the next time you get let out to play  :)

I was in another world yesterday.  Sort of there but not there.  Just thought Gotta make a fish for David.  Duh.  Assumed they were all tucked away somewhere for his aquarium picture later.  Oh well.

What a great Time in Leeds :D ,
Davids lecture was brilliant and I am really looking forward to making some of his sculptures at my next event.     It was great meeting everybody and our visits to the restaurants.
Also a big thanks to Antonio Becares Rodriguez (from Spain) as the muscleman that I designed using his Pinch-Line technique to create the stomach.
Thanks Graham & Lyn for organising it.

Hate sorting my bag but always love it when it's done and it looks so neat and tidy - just like an artists palette :) good job love your huge bag!

Thank you everyone... blushing profusely!

I am in the process of converting the turtle David Cross presented, upping it a notch to 350s.
Hey I'm in retail and work with rounds, so bigger feels better, and more expensive!! :)

Slightly more difficult trying to weave that in, and obviously with the shorter length I needed an extra balloon for the head... Also added in a sand weight within the body, as heavier feels more expensive as well!  He's a cracking template for Crush and Squirt off Finding Nemo.... All I need is a Marvin/Nemo to have a little and large of, and I can get a display going :)

Will experiment more.... and will try and get a picture of it.

I also thought Daniels use of just 2 x 260qs for the flowers and using the ends to make the centres was brilliant.... you wont believe how much time that will save me and the team in the shop... it was the first thing that I showed everyone else. Very Efficient.

Yes hopefully I will actually stay out for a pint next time.
a) so bloody knackered after getting up at 4.30 -  I slept 11 hours when I got back to the hotel!
b) have lost the weight - and therefore can start on the arduous process of putting it all back on again!

Right now thinking of a Gruffalo.... Thinking of a combination of rounds in a column to give it girth, and topping off with a Dave Brenion style Head Mask. Just have to get the DVD! :) Also like with the look of Dave Brenions Jumbo's - would work a treat in the shop, especially for the window, and then use scaled down versions to sell...... Well thats my month sorted!

Thanks again all.

Stu.
