Just back from the Mark Byrne days in Birmingham.
Thanks to all who attended and to Mark and Michelle for coming over to the UK.
I will start to post the pictures later,
would anyone like to guess how many I took over the two days?
Here we go then with the pictures.
From the first three songs.
Mark's dragon.
The quicker and slower way to finish off the giraffe.
An arty picture of the filming and Mark.
Many hats ;)
yes, more hats.
Yes....more hats.
You may have noticed, there were more hats.
My version of mark's reindeer hat.
Looking at the giraffe in a different way.
Playing about with Mark's car design.
The double stuffed eyes on the peacock.
The cake did have flashing lights inside.
Amy and Tracy blinging up the club mugs.
You can see the light here.
Paul will be pleased ;)
More from the day one.
I liked the spider.
Playing about with Mark's bike.
A few bikes.
More from the days.
I liked the fish tank idea.
The crown was nice as well.
Better shots from the photographic studio,
OK it's just a black cloth thrown over three chairs.....
but it works ;)
Then it was onto day one and the competition, the theme was America.
I love the competitions that we have.
Some people even had two entries to try and win the just stunning prizes on offer.
It was fun, well I thought so.
The last of the entries.
We had joint winners,
Ruby with her Marilyn design and Rob with his take on America.
Well done to both and everyone else who took part, it was a lot of fun.
Then it was onto the last session of the day which was challenge Mark.
There was a pirate, batman and budda to start.
Then the Taj Mahal, Dan's entry for the competition, Stix's it's an American band.
A close up of the pirate.
Silent Al's eagle and snake design form the competition.
Coming up0 for the end of day one.
\the end of the first day, exactly 100 pictures.
Day two and Mark talked about his set up first and what worked for him.
Space ship and the pens Mark uses.
The first session the theme seemed to be outer space and aliens.
Monsters and aliens.
The photo studio pictures.
The designs kept coming thick and fast with Mark.
Ruby smiling away.
Back to the photo studio shots.
Changing Mark's lion into a dog.
Mark kept on making hats.
The surfer dude.
Mark certainly made many a design.
Yes more hats!
I changed the ears on version one and two.
I turned Mark's lion head into a dog.
It was then competition time again.
The competition was Hats, no idea how, who or why we came up with that idea.
For the first time we had the contestants being escorted onto the floor for the judging.
Sonia did a good job and it seemed to go down well.
More from the competition on day two.
It was another fun competition with many laughs along the way.
Dave could not have got this any better if he tried.
I was taking a picture of one of the joint winners and Dave put
his company logo there to photo bomb and did it perfectly.
Kathryn was one of the winners.
Along with Sammy.
More form the competition.
Still competition entries.
Rob's aeroplane that was not an entry for the competition
and Kathryn's greatest showman entry for the competition.
Some went a little Halloween on us.
Dan using the professional photo booth ;)
The last of the stragglers,
many had started to make their way home after the two days.
Mark kept going.
Getting a little group photo with those that stayed to the bitter end, he he.
A quick Thomas design.
More from the last session of the day.
Last few coming up.
The last ones from the two day event.
Thanks to all who attended and made the days what they are.
Thanks to those who helped keep the venue tidy.
