I drove up lat night for the nabas show at Stoneleigh Park, went to the industry meal last night which was excllent.
Really nice food, good company, great cabaret. Rafael came over fron Belgium who I've seen a few times doing his big illusion shows but this was his intimate cabaret act which was very professional & excellent. On top of that he is a really nice & friendly guy that always has time for a chat.
He also has good taste as he told me he does read balloon chat & was interested to know peoples thoughts on TMJ which I will try & write up a little review soon but if others want to have there say he would like a few different opinions.

Had a quick look around the show which seems very small & quiet, have taken a few pictures so will post them later when I get home.

A few of the winners that I can remember from last night was Dee fro qualatex winning best male fancy dress, Jodie from qualatex winning best female fancy dress & the best dressed stand being won by qualatex.

Jo Uddin won for I think for small delivery? I've been to see this today & it's excellent very elegant, will post some pictures later.

for those of us that went it was a good day though -We all had time to speak to each other and catch up. Not necasarily good for those promoting businesses I know.  and those new to the industry had some terrific classes to attend at very reasonable rates.

I forgot to mention that I stayed at a really nice hotel called the Abbey Guest House in Kenilworth which had the best selection at breakfast that I've ever had for a B & B.
Really friendly people and the place was spotless so well worth a visit if you need a hotel in the midlands area.
