Hi Graham
Just wondering how to book onto the workshops with Sam? I've tried to do it via the website, but I'm a Guild member, so do I need a coupon reference?
Best wishes
Melanie

We picked Sam up today at St Pancras and went straight off sight seeing around London.
First stop next door at Kings Cross. There was a long queue for a personal picture
so we took a random picture of someone else.
The it was into the underground and onto Abbey Road for the famous Zebra scene.
It was the 30th anniversary of the terrible fire at Kings Cross that killed 31 people.
Sam outside the Abbey Road Studios.
Our tour guide made a great effort in looking the part,
you have to zoom in to see the detail on the outfit.
All London scenes on the dress and T shirt, Kat 10 out of 10, it was Fab.
She even had a microphone to tell us about all the places of interest.
We then went to Baker Street for some info on Sherlock Holmes.
More pictures from our sightseeing yesterday.
The Sherlock Holmes Museum.
Just off up London again now for some more sight seeing.
The roof inside the museum was very nice.
The walk through Green Park to Buckingham Palace.
The leaf blower on the back of the tractor was working hard.
Outside Buckingham Palace, then on the walk back to green park station we found
a wallet. This came about as we saw all the leaves nicely set up from the blower
I pictured earlier so I mentioned shall I go over and kick his leaves all over the
place. There was a small group of leaves next to me when I mentioned this so I
went in and kicked those as a joke and that is when we saw the wallet on the floor.
Funny how it worked out as if I had not mentioned kicking the leaves we would
not have kicked those close to me.
Now what do you do, we thought about finding a policeman but there
are not too many about. So we found his name on a driving licence and Kat
sent him a friends request via facebook. Then we saw someone walking about briskly
looking all over and looking very concerned, he did look a little like the picture on his
license so we went over and asked his name, which matched and he mentioned he
was looking for his lost wallet. So all three of us were well pleased we were able to
help out and find the owner. He did offer us a coffee and well but we declined
as we had things to do and places to go.
On the bus going around Piccadilly circus with the new advertising hoarding.
At Trafalgar Square, the picture on the bus was from the security camera,
funny how the force was strong here and Kat was easily seen but Sam was not.
Our un-official tour guide in all her refinery.
Walking down to Downing Street.
Then it was over to the dome for the Sky ride.
I enjoyed this and I think Sam & Kat did as well.
A Huge thank you to Graham for organising such great events. Sorry I missed the first day but happily I managed to get there for the second day. Thank you Sam for sharing your ideas with us and it was a pleasure to meet you.
Also great to see everyone as its been so difficult to get the these events lately as I have my Grandson Alby to look after now. So it was really nice to see all of you nutters again.
Just back from taking Sam to the airport, a little tired as we were late back last
night and up early for the airport run.
What a fab couple of days, will write more later but will post the last of the
London tour that Sam and I went on with Kat and Danny.
Still on the emirate sky ride.
More from the sky ride.
Driving the driverless DLR train, then when we got home Lyn had put the
balloon model I made a couple of days back in the window.
Purple pig from the balloon blast video show in the studio of BalloonTube.
Would you like to eat out in an igloo? You can on the south bank,
a little like eating in a gold fish bowl.
A picture with Paddington and our boat for the river cruise up the Thames.
WARNING, the last picture does have naughty words printed.
Please scroll past if easily offended.
I thought the T-shirt was pretty tasteless, but then art is subjective.
Art work at Greenwich market.
Sam purchased an umbrella for one, it was pretty small but did fold up extra small as well.
The inside of the glass bowl where the Cutty Sark resides.
Covent Garden.
The busker at covent garden did a little balloon modelling.
Plus an unusual window display.
We also went along Denmark Street which sells all the guitars.
I never knew this place existed myself.
Sam enjoyed the train travel back to mine, passing tooting bec and tooting broadway.
He laughed every time and on the last occasion we had to get out the train to get some pictures.
Here we go then with the pictures from the days.
Thanks to those that helped with carrying the shop in and out from the car.
And to those who kept the room tidy over the two days, much appreciated.
Plus a thanks to those who bring nibbles and fresh cram cakes,
there was a good selection.
My attempt at Sam's unicorn.
Designs from 6" quick links.
Then it was onto star wars.
Sam wears it well.
Then for some un-known reason a fight breaks out.
More from the star wars collection.
Still star wars.
Still star wars.
A nice group photo.
And with R2D2.
It's shocking that someone leaved their glass's on for a picture ;)
The monkey and tree workshop session.
Sam's shark, small version.
Joanne with her feet up relaxing at lunch time.
It was then competition time on day one, the theme was weddings as there was
a wedding being held in the downstairs hall on the next day.
The design had to have an agate balloon in the design and not a gate as some thought.
I have a soft spot for the competition as it's nice to see peoples interpretations.
Some people were so keen to win the amazing prizes they even entered twice.
And the competition continued.
Still the competition, a few did enter :)
Then it was moving onto the last session of day one.
Sammy was walking about so got picked on to wear the plane design.
Then it was the announcement of the winners for the competition,
Amanda 3rd, Bride and groom
Al 2nd, carriage
Susie 1st, hot air balloon
Every one that attends the day has a vote, we usually only have a winner
but there were so many great prizes we decided to split them up.
The entries in the photo studio, well a black cloth laid over a few chairs.
Pictures.
Pictures again.
The end of day one..............then it was out for a meal.
At the meal.
Ballooning at the meal.
Still meal time.
Danny had some stain glass dogs for sale.
I think he still has a few if anyone is looking for an Xmas present.
Some people had gigs the next day but no time to make up the designs,
problem solved get everyone at the day to help for 10 mins.
It worked well and was funny.
The it was star wars time, there is a competition going on and you
have to post something star wars related. I'm not sure who posted this
for the competition, fingers crossed they did as everyone was so excited
they forgot to organise someone to film it. I was taking pictures but luckily
there was two films that are on the members page if you wanted to take a look.
More storm troopers seen in Halesowen.
It was then onto day two of the workshops.
With the back drop in place.
Variations on a theme.
Some even made up there own designs on the theme.
The red arrow display team in full flight.
It was then onto the cow.
More designs.
Some variations I spotted around the room.
Some more variations and then a picture of Thelma.
Another session.
Then moving on to the large shark design.
Paul paying attention :) It was a long two days.
The large shark.
It was then onto a little large ballooning.
A few people tried for the first time, just getting there head inside.
Many were not brave enough to go all the way in.
Tone was brave :)
Then it was onto day two of the competition,
the theme some how just chose itself............................accident(s)
Not sure why this theme was picked ;)
I'm always amazed at the work many put in for the competitions.
But then I suppose there are so many great prizes to win that it's understandable.
More form the competition "Accident"
It was a fun competition with a few laughs along the way.
The competition still going on.
And the last entry was Amanda with her double entry,
the baby accident and falling over a very small railing.
It was then onto the last session of the two day workshop with the big build pirate ship.
Joanne was keen to take the ship home as her son was joining the navy
on the Sunday when she got home.
It was coming to the end of the day.
Rob was third in the competition, although it might have been joint second?
The last of the lovely prizes was given away.
Last few pictures coming up from the days.
A few pictures using the back drop.
A close up of the winning design, the theme was "Accidents" and the
Baby that Amanda made was voted the winner by those attending.
Here we go then, the very last picture picture from the Sam Cremeens two day workshop.
Thanks to all who attended and made it a fun learning experience and thanks to all
who helped keep the room tidy and brought the shop in and out for me along with
bringing some nibbles as well. It all helps to make the days what they are................
So Thank You XXxx
