Where do I go on this site to find out how all this works? I'm quite computer literate. However, this site isn't easy. I've been wanting to post/download my new creations for two days......

I would have to disagree.  It works like just about any other forum I've been on.

That aside, if you scroll down when typing a message, just below the "Preview / Submit / Save" buttons, you'll notice an area that says "Filename".  Click browse and find your picture.  Then, click "Add the file", which is just below "Browse".  You picture is added.  Also, if you have a picture on another website that you'd just like to link to, go to the picture, right click and push the "Save Image Location" option.  Come back over here and paste it.  While the URL is selected, click the "Img" button in the top formatting row above the main message box.  It will automatically add the HTML code to display the picture.

Any questions?

Remember to resizer your images using an image resizer to reduce the number of pixels.

I am sad about the title of this thread  :(  I do think it is pretty user friendly, the search button maybe not the best but as it is a template forum then it is what it is. I have added things to the site, album buttons and a few other things that have slipped my mind at the moment. The other thing is and maybe I should not mention this is I do this at no cost to anyone else. I pay for the upkeep to keep it all online and it is a pretty big site and does take up a lot of my time, I better stop here as I think I was just going to make a few comments that maybe would be better unsaid  :o

There are two threads on posting pictures and I even had the site changed so that you do not need to re-size pictures although for some I believe you still may have to. I can either re-size pictures or put up as is. They do take longer to upload the larger size so I find it quicker to re-size but only because I put many hundreds onto the forum.

And if you are struggling then just put a post up or send me a PM, everyone is so helpful here and I have talked many through the how to post pictures over the phone.

I thought the site was pretty good, have you tried posting pictures onto other balloon forums, now even I struggle there.

I joined back in January and its the first forum I have been involved with properly, I have been a member of others but I never posted or took part in them, This forum I found really easy to use and I have no problems uploading photos or posting, the information is all there to read and I thought it was pretty plain and simple, sorry to hear your having problems but there are plenty of people around to help you if you need it.

I absolutely love this forum Graham and think it is very user friendly.   I am computer illiterate so I do have some problems however I know that all I need to do is ask and someone here offers a solution to my problem.
I can't even imagine all the time and energy you have spent making this forum what it is, and it is for free!  WOW!

Sorry anyone else is having problems with it, but maybe after time and after asking how things are done, they will be as happy as
the rest of us.

Keep up the great work Graham!

If the forum isn't user friendly then simply don't use it :-)

Me too, I don't think that the forum is not user friendly.
Anyway, it is more important that the users are friendly!
