Just a couple of weeks to go, we are on countdown.
Not the TV show but countdown to the day.
Just back from our adventures up and down the country.
It was fun with David.
We had a good laugh and hopefully those attending did as well?
Many thanks to all those that came along to the day in Airdrie.
David set for the workshops.
The Turtle, Bag and David having a snooze in his armchair.
The boat, weapon and everyone having a go at weaving the boat in the
first hands on session of the day.
Weaving away the boat.
Some of the boats finished.
Session two was on Dinosaurs
David's designs.
More of David's designs.
And still more.
My attempt at David's Dinosaur, hands on for the second workshop.
Onto workshop three which was mine with the Halloween designs and my latest shark.
Competition time after my session, I did not get any pictures from my session.
I made the Bat, Spider, cow and shark I believe from memory and showed a
simple axe design.
More from the competition.
Last of the competition entries.
And the winner was Katy-Louise and the mermaid, voted for by all those attending.
Then it was onto the last session with the weaving and dogs trust dog.
And the dog in question.
The shark I showed and one of David's dinosaurs.
Still a few more pictures to post.
Some balloon set ups.
Oh the trouble we had, someone forgot to put the sauce in their pot noodle.
The world will never be the same.........shock, horror ;)
Paul changed the dog colours to look like a wolf.
Last picture from the event.
Thanks to all who came along to the Twistin Twins balloon day.
Thanks also to those who helped set the room,
keep it tidy and help tidy up at the end.
It was appreciated............Thank you.
On our travel day to Birmingham we did a little detour to New Lanark.
It was very picturesque and a lovely sunny day.
We had a lovely couple of hours here and thought this was the waterfall,
only to be told the three main ones are a 30 minute walk up river ..oops
We did not have time to explore but maybe would come back another time.
The bat picture is the reason I went back to visit my bat Tutorial that
I only posted the other week to make his ears so much bigger.
The Bat instructions are here if you'd like to take a look,

David making a mobile call in the phone box,
it made us both smile but then we are both easily pleased.
