Back to Darren's workshop.

And the winner of the star prize for the first day was Amanda.
This was voted for by everyone who attends the days, well done Amanda    

We were walking to the pub and came across this fab car/van, it looked well top of the range.

You can see one side of the room was into balloons and the others.............were not!

A few models form down the pub.

Melissa was very kind and brought over some printed balloons for us to play with.
The theme of day two's balloon competition was going to be space but very last
minute we changed this to using one of the balloons Melissa had brought over
to use in your competition piece.

The first time we have had twins at a Care & share day

I think the sheep was Darren's design.

Then it was onto day two with Twistina

The Snake and Lizard were the first designs of the day.
I liked the way the lizard's head was constructed, a very nice idea.

The second lizard was the one I made, it looked nice in yellow as well.
The black backdrop definitely makes the design pop,
I will have to set this up at every event for better pictures.

Christine used a gold Edding pen for the eyes, it made a lot of difference and was very striking.

The designs look so much nicer with the black backdrop.
I never knew Pikachu had brown stripes on his back.
As they say, life is a learning curve.

More from the day.

The top section of my crown was sitting proud of the heart so I added an
un-inflated balloon to try and keep the design all together.
