I belong to the local magic club and we met at a new venue last night for the first time, a studio theatre which we are all hoping works out for a long term venue for the club
as we have been moving a round a little lately. So we had three workshops, bill switch and faro shuffles by Craig, bar bets with Tim and Kelly and then me with balloons.
Just a couple of pictures from the night.
I took these balloons down with me as I had been playing with ideas during the afternoon. More or less the minion Daniel showed, I added the hair and changed the feet a little and then the turtle is a combination of what I had made up a few weeks back and an idea Daniel gave me when we jammed one day while he was here. A different variation on the turtle as well, still usable in the real world.

Anyway I think the magic club members became aware that balloon modelling is not as easy as some of us twisters make out it is  
I had them making the one balloon bunny, one balloon flower and turtle. Then I showed the teddy, parrot on swing and a one balloon cat.
I think it turned out an OK night, I enjoyed it.
The idea with the turtle is a child will wear it on a wrist, hence the large loop underneath.

Looks like a great format for club nights at magic clubs. Might suggest it for my local club
