Some months ago I was doing my shoping in a discount supermarket when I saw cheap modelling balloons. As I knew that my 4 years old daughter would spend the week-end with me, I decided to buy them. Back at home I unpacked my balloons and decided to go on the net to see how to make something with "these". I started to surf on one site then another and so and so and so... An entire world of possibilities was open and I said : " waouw ! I want to do this, and this and this...". And when I saw this big smile on my little girl's face bearing her first teddy bear, I decided to go further. Now, I'm practising twisting almost each day, trying to create my own design and last week-end, I made my first birthday as a balloon entertainer and... I really liked it !!! Between two swords and 3 hats I could create my first own linework design : A simple but impresive rooster... the audience liked it :)

In a few words, this was my start and I'm happy to share it with you because I learne d a lot of things right here.

It is always intersting to hear how people got intereted in twisting, and I am sure your daughter is now looking foreward to every new balloon you can make.

PS I know you are in Belgium, are you anywhere near Brussels as thats where my Mum and Dad went on their honeymoon

Love the Rooster and glad you enjoy twisting. Nothing like taking something that looks like a long noodle and making something creative. And the funny thing is sometimes when I mess up It turns into something cool. And hey clean up is fast and easy. lol
