My Twisting story
« on: April 25, 2012, 10:24:31 PM »
Hi all

Well about march 2 years ago i was planning a party for my daughters 6th birthday and my sons 4th birthday and i thought i would learn a basic balloon dog and sword to give as party gifts. The year later i though i would add a balloon giraffe rabbit and different swords i leart a few more designd and the kids loved them.

I then started to get calls and emails from my freinds and family to do some balloons at there partys, At first i was thinking i was only going to do balloons for my kids but when a freind offered me £60 an hour i though there could be some nice weekend money in this balloon twisting.

Thay party was 8 Months ago and i learnt alot and i have pritty much spent every evening researching and learning about the art and new designs. My largest events so far was for one of the Sports Relif call centres. My next big event is in a few weeks when i will be twisting at a music festival and if that goes well i will be twisting every saturday for the next 3 month at different festivals.

I do still have a full time job aswell but i dont work weekends at that job and it gives me security untill i build up my reputation. plus most of my customer have been my work mates  :D
