If anyone is driving to Birmingham and can pick me up from islington can you let me know ASAP please? I won't be able to stay over in Birmingham as I have to get back for my baby so will be travelling home on the 1st and heading back out again on the 2nd.

A lift on either 1 or both days either 1 or both ways much appreciated.

Hi ya, just wondering if anyone has or is willing to post a tutorial to make Dusty from Disney's Planes? I have been asked to make some balloon bouquets for a little boys 5th birthday and would love to add some twisted pieces to the bases of my bouquets as a surprise for the birthday boy. Thanks in advance xx

Balloon Chit Chat / Advice on setting up shop please?
January 06, 2014, 01:32:08 AM
Hi ya, I started balloons around 10 months ago from home and would very much like to set up a retail unit this year. My question is where do I start? I have seen a premises that I'm interested in and that's about it. I don't have any capital behind me having been a single mum on benefits for a long time. I've never run my own business before and all I've been doing has been for friends and acquaintances at a low cost so not making much profit and not many orders. I have completed 3 of the 7 qualatex courses and am purchasing my qbn kit in a couple of weeks. I'm a real newbie to all of this and it scares the hell out of me. Any advice much appreciated. Btw Graham I will hopefully be attending your care n share on the 21st of this month so prepare to have your brains picked. Lol.

Balloony thanks,

Natasha. Xx

Hi ballooners, so I did my first job outside today and what an absolute nightmare. Just as I finished my arch, which was built in the usual way, 2 of the balloons on it popped and this kept happening every time I replaced them. I used the qualatex 11" latex. Was there something I should've done differently to compensate for being outside?

Hi, I'm looking for somewhere in or very near to London that does the C & G Balloon Artistry courses (all levels) but having trouble finding providers. I looked on the C & G website but their list is out of date and I've phoned them but they said that you have to go through the website. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

My son wants a DR WHO party next month and would really love to give him a balloon Dalek. I have never even attempted twisting as very new to the balloon world. I've watched the vids on youtube as per the advice of Patricia Balloona but very nervous and not quite sure where to start. Does anyone have a slower, more detailed tutorial with verbal/written instructions please?

Thanks,

Natasha @ B2P

Hi all,

I have a Super Stuffer balloon stuffing machine for sale.

It comes with the flower attachment and stretcher and I can also provide some balloons for practice. The seal on the bowl has just been replaced.

This is the machine that is sold by Qualatex (wholesale price is nearly £700) therefore very easy to get spare parts.

£400 collection from Islington, London.

Many Thanks,

Natasha.

Hi,

We are very new to the balloon world and would like to be able to build up a portfolio of what we can do. Having ordered all of our balloon stock we don't have enough cash to buy the above items new and was hoping one or some of you lovely people could help with preloved ones for sale. Thank you.

Welcome / A big warm & friendly hello from b2p
April 04, 2013, 12:15:34 PM
Hi guys,

Natasha & Rina here (aka B 2 P). Just wanted to come and say hello. We are very new to the wonderful art of balloons but hoping to make a big impact here in North/Central London.

We started out because Natasha wanted a stuffed balloon for her Hubby for Valentines Day but couldn't find one that she liked within her budget. So we bought a stuffing machine from Ebay and set up a little venture.
They have been very popular so far and we are just starting to get orders for helium bouquets for parties so we have started an online training course as Qualatex have no more until later in the year and we hope to be twisting and creating balloon sculptures soon too.

Thanks for taking the time to find out about us and we hope to see some of you at future care and share days.

B 2 P. x
