I love the concept and saw this in Facebook first and you have already acknolwedged my only criticism which would be the lrgibility of the writing.

Just a thought most graphics programs have a menu of effects you can use to transform photos and from memory there is usually a chalk option under "Artistic" but it should be possible to type in your text into a legible handwriting font, convert it to a BMP and them apply a chalk effect to it.  You could do all this with your photo open as the background and then add the text as one or several layers as you could then fiddle with the lines and get them perfect.

I always prefer to see a picture of the person (after all, you are selling your own self as an entertainer). It's a nice, fun concept for a card though. Have you considered having a photo of you actually entertaining on the back (with your phone number repeated)?
Oh, typo alert - there's no apostrophe in ages. xxxxxxxxx

Great idea but I don't look good in photos, I find it hard to do real life :). TY for spotting the typo x

Dave - I like the concept but agree with Nat on the photo of you.

However after a short moment of thought. Can you make a balloon Dave face/head and put that on the back instead?    :)

What is your call to action phone or web?

Make it stand out rather than you name.

Also looks like there is a space in your web address.

Consider making www. & .co.uk smaller than your web title.

or

As here is no need to have www. you could have DaveHickory.co.uk
Notice the use of capital to highlight you name.
