I have just had a go at designing my new business cards and here is the result:-New_Business_Card.jpg[/attachment:1iepph0h]

I had almost resigned myself to having to order 2 sets of cards because I couldn't come up with anything that I felt happy using for both décor and entertaining but I think this image sums it up nicely.

My only concern is that it is a little colourful for handing out at wedding fairs and the like but my only justification is that I also do do kids parties so can't be completely colourless!!

NB:  Please no comments on the lack of landline - I know I haven't put one on and really would prefer not to get into the whole debate again  :)

I think you're done a brilliant job Yvonne. If you're concerned about it being to colourful, have you thought about making a double sided card, one for the decor and the other for all the fun stuff. Both sides could still say Loony Balloon (love that font by the way).

Hi
I think it looks great, and as for the weddings, you'll be the card they remember because its colourful.

I currently have double sided but I have found this to be a bit of a pain for me!  I have had to send other painters on jobs for me this year and when I do so it is because it is a corporate client of mine that I am not prepared to "give away" so need the reverse clear so that I can either stick a "You were painted by ................." sticker on the back or they can write their name on the back if someone wants to book them specifically.

I think I am happy with this as I am toying with the tag line of "Let us add the colour to your event" but not sure if it sounds a little tacky.

Lol thanks Kate I think I must have cross posted with you!  I think you are right.  The cards I have ordered come with a free design service but the first one they did was taking stuff of my balloon site and was hugely twisting orientated and the second one was so plain it was forgettable!

I'm going to send this design off to the printers before I have a chance to doubt myself anymore

That's a good idea for use of thatback yvonne. I think as it I'd, it's great, perfect and not toooo much, like some cards can be. It's colourful, professional looking and too the point in what it's designed for
