Add the centre section, twist the bubble into the two pinch twists securely.

The jewels are made from a 160 wild berry here but I rather like spring green for a nice emerald look.

Inflate the 160 about half way, make two 1.5 finger bubbles and twist into the
two pinch twists then gently push the wild berry into the 2 finger fold twist.

For quick ness I then made a 2 finger bubble before the next jewel,
this will be popped later or if you like the look of an extra jewel you could leave as is.

The next two bubbles are 2.5 fingers in length for the centre jewel.
Wrap the 160 around the two pinch twists before gently pushing the two bubbles into the 3 finger fold twist.

Then make another 2 finger bubble that will be popped later,
unless you like the look of the extra two jewels.

wrap the 160 balloon around the two pinch twists and then make your last two
1.5 finger bubbles and gently push these into the last 2 finger fold twist.

If you like the look of the five jewelled crown then leave the design as it is.

If you prefer the three jewelled crown then pop the two 2 finger wild berry bubbles.

And there you have the finished crown, hope the instructions were not too difficult to follow?

There is another thread here on balloon chat with a few variations and colour
combinations that you might like to take a look at, crown-bird-butterfly-t10715.html

I also added a different look to the top middle section of the crown
but you do have to use an extra balloon for this.

At first glance of this sculpture I thought a weave was in order to do it, but actually it's far more easier than even weaving :D .

The Jury is still out on using it for line work but still a lovely gift for the more private functions.

A very workable design for the real world, on making it I saw endless variations, very nicely created Graham and thank you for sharing, I will have fun with this one ;)

Alby likes your crown.
So do I.  I have a wedding on Friday and the lady asked me to make her mum a crown.  Definitely going to use this.  Thank you Graham x

I like the design and following the guide was fine. When I got to the end I found my head band was a bit on the small size and it did take a bit of messing with to get it looking right. I just wonder how well it'll look after half hour in a kids hands.

Going to make a few more though and see how the come out.
