Is this a first? It's the first of the month and I'm posting this months models. These were to be November's model of the month but I misplaced the pictures just before heading off to The Millennium Jam, so here they are for December instead.
Two quick and easy christams balloons for use in the "real world"
The angel is made with a heart and one 160.

Here is my attempt at the angel. I can't believe I am first, every month I mean to do the challenges and something comes up.
Early New Years resolution, must try harder.

Here is my attempt at the Santa Hat

Well I had a go (well it was either play with latex or do the ironing!) but I ran into a few problems!

Here is my angel but her head kept resizing itself!  Is there a way to stop this happening as it did make things a little difficult and can I ask is there a pinch twist at the knot end of the heart above the head?DSC03562.JPG[/attachment:9vj1jr7q]

This is my Santa hat but I have struggled and I know it is not right.  I think I will have to wait until the instructions to see which order to twist this one in as I think I went about it in the most complicated way possible.DSC03564.JPG[/attachment:9vj1jr7q]

I've been trying the angel - not ready for father christmas yet.  She is definitely a plump angel - no problem with the head resizing for me, but her halo and wings are a bit small, her hair keeps on unravelling and she only has one arm lol! I'll keep going.....

Nikki can you post your effort and we may be able to give some help.
Yvonne, If you put enough twists in the heart for the head it should stop the head from re-sizing itself.
The pinchtwist at the front of the angel is in the 160.

Poor thing she is! I think I just need to work on proportion - now that I have photographed her, I think her head could be a bit smaller and if I trim a bit more off each wing, that might just be enough to extend her tiny bubble arm.  I find that when I am looking at pictures or videos, my bubbles are always too big and once I adjust them a bit, it all fits.

I always put the second arm on her before making the wings and then split the rest of the balloon in two to make her wings,
Hope that helps a bit?

Thanks to those that had a go and attempted the models for this month. It's nice when a few do try them, so if you have made any of the model of the months on the forum then please post your efforts as it may encourage others as well.

Instructions for the angel/fairy;

Take a Sempertex heart and inflate, including the long neck. Twist a 4 finger bubble in the neck of the heart for the angels face. Take a 160, inflate leaving 4 fingers un-inflated, twist a 5 finger bubble for the arm followed by a 2 finger pinch twist that will sit underneath the chin at the front to support the head, arms and wings all in place later.
