I have gone with the Mickey mouse wand that takes three balloons and a scrap for his nose.

I like to think this is a real world usable design.

We will be sending out the complimentary packs of balloons to make the
design in all the orders and I will add the step by step instructions to the forum.

If you post your design here then you will go onto the random name selector
at the end of the month to win a balloon modelling DVD.

For the first couple of times you may want to pre-stretch the 260 black to make it
3/4 fingers longer in length. Hols the balloon between your finger and thumb
and with your other hand pull the balloon up and through your finger and thumb.

Inflate the black 260 leaving a 7 finger un-inflated section.

Make a 4 finger bubble followed by a 4 finger fold twist.
Then make two 2 finger bubbles and twist the balloon around
the 4 finger fold twist to hold it in place.

Push the two 2 finger bubbles in between the 4 finger fold twist.
This is the first ear. Then make two 2 finger bubbles for the centre section of the head.

Make another 4 finger fold twist.

Then two more 2 finger bubbles.
Twist the balloon around the base of the 4 finger fold twist and push the two
2 finger bubbles into the 4 finger fold twist to make the second ear.

Make another r4 finger fold twist for the lower section of the face and twist
the knot of the balloon around this twist.

Hopefully you have between a 7/9 finger bubble left on the black balloon that
later will go over the top centre bubbles between the ears.

I usually twist the blush 260 into the black as I'm making it but for clearer pictures
I have made the two separately and we can join them later.

Inflate the blush 260 leaving approx. a 6 fingers un-inflated.

Make a 4 finger fold twist for the lower section of the mouth,
then two 4 finger bubbles for the upper section of the mouth and twist
the balloon around the 4 finger fold twist.

Make a 3 finger fold twist for one of the cheeks.

You then need the second 3 finger fold twist for the second cheek.

Then two 4 finger bubbles for the eyes of Mickey,
twist the balloon around the centre of the two cheeks and discard the rest od the blush 260.

Take the black 260 and wrap this around the centre of the blush balloon.

Then take the rest of the black balloon over the top section of the head
gently squeezing the black balloon so that it sits snugly between the two
4 finger bubbles of the blush balloon which will be the eyes.

It should be about an 8 finger bubble that comes over the top
section of the head.

On mine I did not have to let an air out of the balloon,
sometimes you do. There should be a 2 finger bubble in the black 260 to
help hold the mouth, cheeks, eyes etc all correctly and in alignment.

Inflate the red 260 leaving 6 fingers un-inflated, I make a 2 finger bubble.
This will be the tongue for the mouth of Mickey.

Then twist a soft 4/5 finger bubble will act like a neck.
This has to be soft as you do want to shock twist shape this
so the head sits nicely on the wand section of the design.

If you want a shorter wand make the fold twist 4 finger bubbles
or for a longer wand make the fold twists 3 fingers.

I made five 3 finger fold twists on this one.

Attach the 2 finger bubble on the red balloon into the centre head section of Mickey.

Push the knot from the red 260 down into the blush 4 finger fold twist.

The nose is a 2 or 3 finger bubble tied softly to make roundish.
If too tight it will look like a pinch twist.

Attach the nose from the bottom of the top section of the mouth.
Pull the un-inflated section up tight and wrap around the nose and then pull
the un-inflated part of the balloon back into the centre section of the head.

The un-inflated part of the balloon sits down in between the 4 finger bubbles
of the blush balloon. By tying the nose on this way it makes the nose sit up
at the top of the muzzle and to me is more pleasing to the eye.

Add a little artwork, you could use a white edding pen to make the eyes stand
out more but if making for the real world this is a little time consuming.

Depending on the number and size of the fold twists in
the red 260 will vary the length of the wand being used.

Last night was the closing date for the Feb competition and this is a first.
We had no entries and we did send out many many orders with the complimentary
balloon packs included. So we do not have to do the random name selector this month.

We do already have an entry for March which is the Koala Bear,
