To make the flying man/lady;

Arms & Body

Inflate a 160 leaving 6 fingers un-inflated; twist a 5/6 finger bubble followed by two 2 finger pinch twists. Then a 4 finger body bubble and a 1 finger pinch twist, this pinch twist will hold the man in the plane by twisting it around the centre of the wings later.
Do another 4 finger bubble for the front of the body, twist this around the two pinch twists and then finish with a 5/6 finger bubble for the other arm.

You then will need two 2 finger pinch twists for either hand.

Head;

Head Construction,

Inflate a 160 leaving 4/5 fingers un-inflated. You start with the cheek bubble of 2/3 fingers followed by a 1 finger pinch twist for the nose, another 2/3 finger twist and a 2 finger pinch twist for the first ear.

Then twist a 5/6 finger bubble for the lower jaw and a 2 finger pinch twist for the second ear.
Twist the knot of the balloon around the second ear.

Next comes the back of the head which is a 2 finger bubble (this is where the neck will be attached later) another 2 finger bubble and then twist the balloon around the ear to secure.

The top of the head is a 2 finger bubble, 1.5 finger bubble and then the  last 2 finger bubble and attach around the ear again.

With the scrap left over from making the head or you can use a new balloon you need two 1 finger pinch twists that get attached between the two 2 finger back of the head bubbles and then a 2 finger neck bubble that will attach to the body.

A 3 finger bubble from the ear to the top of the forehead, attach with a 1 finger pinch twist. A 2 finger bubble over the top of the head and attach it to the other pinch twist then two 1 finger bubbles and attach back to the other pinch twist and to finish a 2 finger bubble back down and secured at the ear.

Take the remaining balloon or a new one and attach to the forehead pinch twist, twist a 4 finger bubble around the two neck pinch twists and then the last 4 finger bubble back to the other forehead pinch twist.

The eyes are just two 2 finger bubbles that I attach through the head and onto the two neck pinch twists and push fit into place, draw on the eyes.

Use a very soft 160 for a smile and stretch betwen both ears.

The scarf flying in the wind is a un-inflated 260 with some cardboard inside wrapped around the neck

We tried a few variations on the hair as It's the one area that I seem to struggle with and am always changing.
These all looked a bit girly to me but I do like the construction of the first style and the two pink pinch twists would be better in yellow as well.

None! It's done the old fashioned way. I stuck him on a Diamond Clear and waved him about on my terrace - that's the view from my flat.
