I have decided to go with Peppa Pig for the model of the month
and more the 3D version with only one eye either side.
The 3D version is with the 260 for the head and below the 2D version using a heart.
There are no spares in this months complimentary balloon packs.
So fingers crossed when you are making all will go well.
Perhaps try with some odd colours you already have before making with
the colours provided, good luck. I will post the instructions shortly.
Here we go then with the instructions.
Inflate the pink 260 leaving approx. 6 fingers un-inflated.
Make a 3 finger apple/tulip twist followed by a 5 finger bubble and then a 1.5 finger pinch twist.
Make another 5 finger bubble and tie this back into the tulip/apple twist.
If you pull the knot of the balloon back that formed the apple twist
that is inside the first 5 finger bubble then this twist will securely
hold the tulip/apple twist so it is unable to come undone.
Make a 6 finger bubble followed by another 1.5 finger pinch twist for the top of the head section.
Make a 1 finger bubble and attach to the first pinch twist, you could then make the neck bubble
but I like the back of the head to look a little chunkier so make a 3 finger bubble to the top
of the head pinch twist.
Then make another 3 finger bubble back to the lower pinch twist.
Make a 1.5 finger bubble for the neck of peppa.
Discard the rest of the balloon.
Inflate the black 260, you can get at least two sets of feet from one 260.
Make a 3 finger fold twist, followed by a 1.5 finger pinch
twist and then another 3 finger fold twist.
The other 260 pink cut in half and use half for the ears and the other half for the legs.
Make a 6 finger bubble for the ears and then make a 4 finger bubble from
the other part of the 260 and attach this to the pinch twist on the feet.
Inflate the red 260 and pre stretch this, pull the balloon through your finger and thumb.
Leave 6 fingers un-inflated. Then make two 1.5 finger pinch twists.
You then need a 6 finger bubble, a 4 finger bubble and another 6 finger bubble.
Twist the balloon into the two pinch twists.
Make another 6 finger bubble and a 4 finger bubble, twist this into
the previously twisted 6 finger 4 finger bubble section of the dress.
Make a 2 finger bubble and attach the top of the leg around this twist.
Then twist another 4 finger bubble for the second leg and twist into the black pinch twist.
Back to the dress, make another 2 finger bubble and twist into a 6 finger
4 finger bubble joint at lower part of the dress.
Make a 4 finger bubble and twist into the last 6 finger 4 finger bubble joint.
Then make a third 2 finger bubble and twist this around the top of the legs.
Make a 4 finger bubble and deflate the rest of the red balloon balloon.
Push the 4 finger bubble into the middle of the dress and attach to the two top pinch
twists. You will need to push the three 2 finger bubbles up into the dress as well.
Inflate the 160 pink about half way, make a 1 finger bubble,
a 2.5 finger bubble and a 1.5 finger bubble for the hand.
Twist together and push the smaller bubble through the hand so it will not un twist.
Make between a 5/6 finger bubble for the arm and twist into the two red pinch twists.
Make another arm the same size and then repeat the hand with a 2.5 finger bubble,
a 1.5 finger bubble and a 1 finger bubble. Discard the rest of the 160 balloon
and push the smaller bubble through the hand to secure.
Attach the head to the two red pinch twists securely.
Attach the ears, split the 6 finger bubble in two and twist into the top head pinch twist.
I like to use the rest of the 160 and to tie this around the apple/tulip twist
and then pull securely back into the lower head pinch twist.
This makes the head a little rounder and for me I prefer this look.
Cut off the excess 160 balloon.
Inflate a small section of the white 260 for the eyes.
Make a 3 finger bubble and twist into two, tie off and push them into the head section.
Add artwork, hope it worked out OK and if you do make Peppa then please post a picture.
