I was looking through the past couple of weeks pictures of models I have made for next months competition as I'm away to Eastbourne and the magic convention tomorrow.
I have the horse hat, horse ride in or panda at the moment, now which one to choose? Decisions, decisions :)

I decided to go with the ride in horse, I thought it might be more useful for people. I think you should be able to work the hat out with the instructions for the ride in horse though.
Well fingers crossed you will.

I was looking to make the head a little bulkier so used the 350 for the back section of the face rather than a 260.
The 350 from back of face to neck then was fighting as it had to balance one on one.
The loop for the top of mouth is also the 350.

I was trying different size bubbles to see the different look for the horse's face.

I used the 350 from the top section of the head only and doubled it over, the mouth fold twists are from a 260 and there are 4 twists for the lower section of the face from a 260.
The design above has a different construction.
As the top section of the head has 4 bubbles the neck sits nicer and holds in place pretty good.

I took these on a new canon G12, just checking it out. It has a date mark which might be handy?

I like this horse face, but both the horse hat and ride in horse should definitely be on the cards!!!!

I have just done the pictures for the ride in horse instructions............and then did again as I was not happy with the height of the neck for the horse.
In the original on the right it is 20 fingers, five hands high and on the right 16 fingers, four hands. I think the smaller is better so re-made the horse again.

This is what will come in the complimentary pack for this month.
I think we will add an extra 350 and 260 in white and an extra 160 caribbean blue in case you have a pop while making the design.

Inflate the white 350 leaving approx 5 fingers un-inflated, twist a 6/7 finger bubble and a 3 finger pinch twist.

Twist another 6/7 finger bubble to match the first one and then a second 3 finger pinch twist.

Tie the knot of the balloon around the second pinch twist.

Inflate a white 260 leaving 5/6 fingers un-inflated, tie this balloon onto the first pinch twist. Make a 4/5 finger bubble followed by two 4 finger fold twists.
(These will be 8 fingers in length but when twisted over are the width of your hand)

Twist another 4/5 finger bubble and twist the 260 balloon around the pinch twist.

You then have another 4/5 finger bubble and twist the balloon around the two fold twists.

Then one more 4/5 finger bubble that gets twisted into the pinch twist, the last part of the 260 is used for where the eyes will sit later.
This last bubble should be 1 finger in length longer than the 350 twists that will be the back of the horse's head.
It should be slightly curved as in the picture. Discard the rest of the 260 balloon.
