Done something today which has been a while since the last time that I can remember....I took my wife & grandson out for the day on a Sunday, yes really. I can't remember the last Sunday that I didn't have a show so we went off to the airport to see the planes that my grandson is keen on. Found a couple of really good places to see the planes taxi around the runway & then wait for their clearence from the tower to take off, the noise of those engines as they build up speed to take off. They don't seem to be going very fast when they gracefully glide off into the sky. We were then lucky to find a great spot to see them land, they were about 30 feet above us as they came over, we could almost touch them. The noise of the big planes with 4 engines is awesome, except for if you live over the flight path?

We then went to a cafe for lunch & then a walk around Hampton Court & along the river so all in all a very pleasant day & as my gran used to say you should always take your time & smell the flowers along the way :D

Nice one Graham - it is good to just chill now and then.

No grandchildren here but we had a nice Sunday too - a walk over the fields near here, the half way point was the Battlefield line - a small steam line. We had nice pot of tea and a huge chunk of home made cake at the Railway Station tea rooms, a ride through the countryside on the train and back then finished the walk following Ashby Canal followed by Sunday lunch in the pub Bliss!  :D  :D
C\'mon Let\'s twist again...
