Now that's a good question, there are two email lists that I know off.
One is on balloon HQ & the other run by marc summers called balloon cosultant but neither are forums.
Have you tried googling?
You can always talk or perhaps that should be listen  to my midlands secretary Pam about decor as she & Paul are very knowledgable on the subject as is a good friend from Scotland that is a member here Colin Myles

Hi

As mentioned before I'm looking into starting balloon décor in the future. After loads of research, I've now decided to start ordering all the essentials required from the simple things like Archline to the more expensive things such as the balloon inflators.

As it's such a huge expense, I've decided to ask on here first to see if anyone has any old'ish stock which they don't use and would like to sell on. I can then start to place orders for the rest. Anything at all that you think I would need, if you have it and don't need or want it anymore, please PM me, I'll be interested in buying it from you.

Many thanks

Hi Graeme,

Seems that great minds think alike... I've been getting more interested in this area too recently.

Not a forum, but I stumbled across this site which has some good step-by-step guides on it.

Last year there were some cheap chinese inflators on eBay... just looked they are still there.

Hi Dave,

Great thanks. I brought a huge amount of equipment from someone selling her whole stock on Ebay (Big thanks again to Pam Pearce for pointing it out to me :) ). Paid £2500 for it all but estimate it being worth well over £4000. I have just about everything I need now. Although still doing a lot more research before I actually start out.

Almost ready to start on some smaller projects and hopefully, within a year I'll be ready for some bigger jobs. :) :) :)

Realy excited  :)

For anyone interested in decor their are some real basic, simple - how easy can I put it, seminars happening in the Incostume party show at the Ricoh Arena Coventry 22nd, 23rd March also Tuesday 24th but not as many.

They are aimed at giving people running fancy dress and party shops and maybe selling the odd helium inflated foil balloon and insite in to doing something more with their balloons rather than those already doing something with balloons. (yes I know Paul and I have been asked to assist with some, 1st time at seminar for us!!)

Anyway show is free entry, just register and they will send you tickets at http://www.incostumepartyshow.co.uk

If nothing else their are fairground rides there to have a go on as well.

any interest see you there

Hi Pam do you have a link?
I'm thinking of going on a fundamental course to see if I would enjoy, only £110.
