Just watching the new series of Dynamo. Without sounding blasphemous, he may be Jesus.
What I really want to know is (from people in the know) is it really just magic? Are the people he amazes just stooges and he is using magic equipment? Are people who do magic impressed or is it a gimmick?

I have seen some of Dynamos stuff and some is very entertaining. Other stuff is just TV magic at its most TV ish .....?

I have seen the start of two of the newest shows to air of his and I turn them off pretty quickly. Its really hard for me to get into the type of "Magic Shows" like these. I feel it devalues magic and does nothing to create anything other than must be done by TV, editing or stogies .

I would rather see a real life performance or show than whats done on tv.

TLDR: I do not enjoy this style of show. I love magic .

As a magician, I find these shows quite tedious, I just don't like the way these shows are presented and I think they are doing more damage to the art of magic than they are helping it. The problem with it is that its just not real for me, its all so fake and set up. I am not having a go at Dynamo, its just the way TV is going I think, I am sure Dynamo and his team are talented magicians but its just not for me.
