Title: Magic For Sale
Post by: Graham Lee on August 08, 2013, 10:06:30 AM
At long last I am going for the big clear out, I plan to take pictures and post what is available. I think I posted a list before so will see if I can find it again. The first thing is a genuine spider flex backdrop in dark blue with a walk in centre and also side wings, http://www.spider-evoflex.com/lng/en/sp ... black.html (http://www.spider-evoflex.com/lng/en/spider-flex-combo-black/black/black.html)
on the website these sell for 1400 euros which I think is approx. £1200. I have had this for approx. 4 years and bought it for filming at the balloon days, we did film David Brenion on the very first BAG DVD but it was something else to carry and put up so it has only ever been used once. I would like £750 for the unit, the bag has wheels so it is easy to move about.

In the picture above you can see the side wing, took a picture from the other side with no side wing so you can see the difference and a picture showing the doorway entrance.

The first prop is like hippety hop rabbits, it stands about 12" tall and you can put on any picture so that you can vary the effect at different times of the year. £25
I have two coomber systems for sale, they both have a tape deck so you can see the are nearly brand new  :D
The first one has a broken handle that has been repaired and is mains only and wired lead mic only. £150
The last one is with built in battery so you can perform in the middle of a field,
there is no radio mic with this but the frequency is 174.5 and it does work with a wired in mic. £250

Both have a carry bag.

I'm going to start selling my magic again, this time one box at a time. I have so many boxes that when people were asking about things I had to look through 7/8 boxes.
It drove me nutty, so this time I will put the content from one box up and sell them and then move onto box 2 etc etc.
Title: Re: Magic For Sale
Post by: Graham Lee on April 20, 2015, 10:47:21 AM
So here we go with phase two of the operation to sell my magic collection one box at a time as before it just got too much for me.

I have no idea what some of the items cost and what is a sensible price, if something is worth £100 then please do not offer a £5 but then again I'm not looking for £80 for it either.
I do not have the time to google search everything but all sensible offers considered.

The road safety item we will assume does not light up, I do have the extra ball for the colour changing tube.
I believe the train effect is a supreme item and at the moment I have not found the instructions.

Rainbow tube sold

The blue one is a change bag plus rip apart, the small red is pat page jam jar joins and the black cloth with blue trim is the appearing and vanish cloth by pat page, again I used to use these in my shows. Tony Clark, dove from tissue box. The wands, two are just wands plus, the bear hand vanishing silk, silk vanish in newspaper, len blease tipple wand (that might not be correct name for item) The small wand and silk, the silk is covering the gimmick, I think I bought this from duane laflin.

Matchbox mambo, this is a sympathetic matchbox effect by Paul Richards and put out by Danny Archer Magic.
While going through the box I found an International Brotherhood of Magicians quick view programme from 1994, these things all bring back memories for me.
