Had a go at some pumpkins for Halloween. Would love to see some others. I am sure there are many closet carvers out there  :D

Not doing one this year as going camping tomorrow, wouldn't be as good as yours though. I find a flashing red bike light inside ups the spookiness.

These are brilliant! We did one for the first time this year - no where as good as yours and we only had a kitchen knife but I confess next year going to get the tools as loved making it and am now a little hooked! Lol

Thanks Sonia, I just use a small penknife and take it slowly. I have been meaning to get a pumpkin carving set so I can take more care. It also helps having a big pumpkins. This years were about 12 inches across.

That is a great idea Roger. The flowers will also help to mask the smell of rotting pumpkin  ;)

Hello all

I have been carving pumpkins since I was a kid and every year I make a timelapse video of them.
This was the first video I made about 5 or 6 years ago - //http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IB964g3EODc

And here are some of my more recent ones
