I was asked on Sunday where I was twisting for a hat & I made the two loop one size fits everyone hat that I've always thought was OK.
Well let's just say the person receiving the hat was not impressed, so made a couple of variations that look more like a hat. I got the idea from one on the birmingham day that Paul made;

The first picture is the original hat that I've made for ages, not sure who came up with the original idea. It may have been Todd Neufeld from the USA?
The bottom version is my favourite as when it's worn the peak part does angle down like a true hat.

They look great...

Although I think at the point he complained you should have made a balloon baseball bat and asked if he would like to be pursuaded that the hat was the most wonderful creation ever seen :lol:  :twisted:  :lol:

Graham, you could turn that into a basketball hat by tieing a piece of wool onto the front rim, with a small round balloon hanging from it. The kids then have to flick their heads up and try and get the ball into the loop at the front.

This is an idea Clive and I came up with many years ago experimenting in my office. We showed it to Coz, he now has it on his balloon hat DVD, although he didn't give any credit to us!!!

Coz seems to have lots of idea's on their DVD's that credit to others should have been given

i like to add a ball game to the hat it makes a great idea which keeps the kids amused for ages.
