That's a really great hat. What is a kite festival and why was the hat destroyed?

Nice hat...   I'm assuming this was a deliberate destruction instead of long term deflation?

Ive got an office full of the deflated type models, never know when to get rid of then and some are really cute as they deflate slowly.

Kite Festival is an annual event in Singapore org by "act3international". Besides kites flying competition, there are many other activities on the two-day event. you may log on to "www.act3international.com.sg" for more details. I was engaged to do balloons-give-away for the past 3 years.
yes, the hat was a deliberate destruction as it took up space in my study room
