I was asked to do a Captain America for a 6 year old boy last weekend. I was happy enough with the shield and the head but the rest is a bit naff. The little boy was happy with it but I wasn't.

I totally understand.... but ultimately we are our own worst critics.
We all have those creations we don't like ourselves, that still absolutely wow our clients.
To them everything we do - even what we consider simple - is magical.

I know - you heard this a million times before - but just needed reminding on this occasion :-)

Most important is that you made a little boy very happy!!

And I have no doubt you'll very soon re-work this model into one you like too. :-)

Thelma, many times i have felt the same about my designs, yet the child is always happy!! ;)  Most of the time the child destroys the balloon even before i leave the party anyway
