David Crofts came up yesterday so we could work on another design together, off up to London later to set it for tonight's party.
I will add a few pictures later but better not say what it is for till after the event.

Really love this Graham!!! How many 350s did it take to make? And is it freestanding? Bet the company loved it!

We never counted but I have just counted up the bricks and then divided by two so at a guess only 80 350's.

The 'l' was made first, then the 'o's, the 'e', then the two 'g's; important to decide in which order to build the letters so as to help with overall scale and proportion.
The 'o's were made with eight 260s starting at the same time with two flat weaves at the middles of both sides working upwards and downwards.
