They were talking about handbags on another forum so thought I'd have a go at one.
So here's my effort. I think the black band over the centre as the clasp locking the bag may be better with just a 360 with a puff of air in. Would look less cumbersome;

yes the puff looks better, more realistic. I can imagine a playboy logo, making it a designer handbag and great for older children and adults.

Anyway, I've been making this style of clutch purse for a couple of years now and the girls really love it.

That is really delicate looking.  Graham's is a day bag and yours is a night bag  You two have got me more interested in the idea now.  Before I just thought "boring" and did the straight flat weave with handle.  Bad me!!!

There isn't any reason for exact measurements.

Basically, this is just a version of a flat weave.

I don't know where my head has been but where ever it's been it looks like it took my manners with it.
