This one is a Cody Williams design that I made off his youtube tutorial.

Here are a few designs i have been playing with. I am going with the design that my son is holding, It's easily made quick for line work.

OK I had a play tonight, not made these before.
Looking at the picture just realised the legs need to be a lot shorter.

I did not like the look of the grey 160 around the eye so changed it and made the legs shorter on version two.

I changed a few things on the taller minion, yellow 350 so it was more closed up, eye construction, shorter legs.

This is a fun sculpture to make.

I found it quite effective turning the yellow 260 around the other way, straight not flat also!! If you understand what i mean, works well in a smaller design, For a bigger design i used a sempertex yellow heart. I am going to see what it looks like with the 260 flat and doubled, as in your design Graham.

Ok so i had another go, using the yellow 260 in a flat looped position. I found the eye needed extra support and seemed to keep falling out, but i changed the way i made the eye and it all fitted into place much better. I also added a 2 inch pinch twist at the base of the head, for the mouth, it just looks more effective. I must say that i prefer the doubled over method, rather than the flat looped method for sure. Mainly for speed of production!!

Still liked how it turned out though!! :)

I went to a magic lecture by Steve Evans last night, the day before on facebook he posted a picture of himself wearing a woolly minion hat so I thought I'd make him a balloon one as well
I added some hair to the one I made before on this post, seemed to work OK.
