Hey all, I thought I would post a few more of my recent balloons
First I was asked by a friend to do a lotus flower and an elephant for a wedding

and then I made the Grenadier guard for another friend.

Yes it was Graham, I thought it would be a good chance to have a practice run, I had been thinking about the head design for some time so was pleased to have the opportunity to have a go this week.

Hello everyone

While at the Birmingham Care and Share day recently Dave showed me a photograph of a balloon model and I decided to try and recreate it. Sadly I have no idea who created the original sculpture but if you do recognise this and know who made the original then please let me know, Thanks for the inspiration Dave.

I have called this sculpture an armadillo but it might actually be a Pangolin or some other type of exotic creature, what do you think? I have made it using the Antonio Becarus pinch line technique, He showed it to me at the June 2013 care and share days in June 2013 and I have been wanting to use it much more recently and when I saw the original sculpture it gave me a great opportunity to use it. There are 89 pinch line bubbles making up the back, tail and head of this sculpture, if you are interested in learning this amazing technique then you can buy the Pinch Line DVD here – https://globosaltea.wordpress.com/pinch ... nique-dvd/.
This Sculpture is made from about 20 balloons, it contains 160s, 260s and 350s, the 350s are hidden inside the body and are unseen.

I had the urge to make a hovercraft today, I live just a few miles away from the worlds only scheduled hovercraft service and I used to work with them too.

I made this Bumblebee for a friend of mine recently, I think Bumblebees have always been a difficult insect to make out of balloons but I really like how this turned out.
