Having sorted out over half my picture albums I thought I would start to post them onto the forum under one thread. I think the majority will have been posted onto the forum at some time but many may have missed them or not been members when I originally posted. I have just set up a twitter account as well, my tag is myballoonart so if anyone would like to follow me then please do.
Where I'm inflating the White 260 this was taken at Guildford University where they had a fun day with Johnny Ball and the robot I think called Titus.
Me in the big balloon with head out, someone made this picture up for me from an original when I played the magic club meal for the magic club in the Midlands,
the name escapes me at the moment. I was on the bill with Alec Powell and Jason Steele and Joanne I believe.
Where I'm fully inside the balloon this was taken at Blackpool magic convention, one of my very first lectures.
Graham, I love the "inside the big balloon" but it scares me when I see someone totally inside it. I know there is lots of air in there but do you carry a pin or sharp object just in case?
Yes you should always be prepared for any situation, I have scissors with me.
Graham is it hard getting into the balloon I want to try this really bad : )

I nearly mentioned this when Millie said about it looking/being dangerous. It is dangerous and generally I offer no advice, for safety reasons and to protect ourselves. Some people have panic attacks attempting to climb inside and I did post one on the forum about this if you do a search. On the website when buying the balloons there is a warning notice to say these are the climb in balloons but it is dangerous and we suggest you do not climb into them. All the info is out there on the internet or YouTube and Larry Moss has a book out about climbing inside.
These were the first two heads I tried before we got third time lucky with the style and that was by a mistake. This was made for Room 101 and has now been repeated possibly 5/6 times now. Just looking at heads one and two now and both I think would have been OK in hindsight, they have the craggy look :) Fingers crossed Alice does not read the forum :)
Wow, that is awesome. I can't wait to see more. I am so blown away by the artistic talent on this site.
All the pictures are in alphabetical order, well most of them are.
The first ape was my variation on Mr Bomas and his Monkey from YouTube.
I think the ape in picture three was taught by Sabina at the British juggling convention when she popped over so that is going back a few years now.
I think Sabina taught this at a few conventions now thinking about it.
The baby was made from a model that Phoenix shared on the forum.
The backdrop was made I think for my second magic convention I attended. The first one was to promote the care & share days and to give away some free Qualatex product that Pioneer kindly provided. This is the IBM magic convention and at a guess would have been 2006.
The dreaded balloon artiste guild logo design, we never did sort this out although I have seen a very similar design on the internet with this now.
The ball was taught in the jam room at the millennium jam, it might be from an idea by Colin Myles, might be?
The ball and spiral I learnt over 10 years ago on a DVD by .... ......, in fact I will not say as it was not the persons design, it was taken from Sean Rooney.
If you have not heard of Sean Rooney then google him, he is an AMAZING artiste
Not sure when the ballerina was made.
Oasis was made for my next door neighbour and I think is a quick and easy way to get the look you are looking for.
The base was made for comic relief, this is the link to view more from that photo shoot, another-photo-shoot-t750.html (http://balloonchat.co.uk/another-photo-shoot-t750.html)
The last picture of Batman and Robin were made for the Yarmouth IBM magic convention last year and the first made for Zakh and at a guess his 4th birthday two years ago.
I forgot to make batman have a black nose on one of the designs, oops.
The beaver was made a long while back.
I started off with one head design for Ben 10 and then changed it, I think the second one works better.
Bertie was made with Colin Myles when we went to Ireland two years back. Colin's website, http://www.smileyballoons.com/ (http://www.smileyballoons.com/)
The face was possibly made at the very first care & share day? Memory goes at my age, it was at Bishops Stortford though.
I made an easier two balloon bike the other day, posted it on the Belgium lecture thread, belgium-lecture-t7609.html (http://balloonchat.co.uk/belgium-lecture-t7609.html)
A few bikes I have made over the years, the push bike Thelma asked me to make from her PDF instructions to check them out.
If anyone would like to make this then get in touch with Thelma as I'm sure she could do with a few pennies :)
Some variations on the two balloon 260 bike with a scrap of 160 for the handlebars.
Some bikes, the motor bikes were made just a couple of weeks back. The push bike I would think I made at least three years ago at a guess.
The bike I made at Kidology magic convention last month.
Still on "B" for bikes,
Some variations on a push bike theme,
The push bikes were made for a TV show in the UK, never mind the buzzcocks.
The middle bird was made at Thelma's a few months back and the other two must have been made a few years ago now, I really like the look of the first bird's beak/mouth section.
The one balloon bird/chick which if memory serves me correctly I first saw sitting about in the jam room one year at the millennium jam.
The book was made for one of the games we used to play on the forum, guessing the word association game.
The boxer was made for a magic club friend who was attending a party and the host was a boxing referee.
I made the bride and groom for my Daughters wedding, I got the idea from a design that David Grist did a while back that I think was published in a balloon images magazine. His design involved SDS panels and I think was a cowboy from memory.
At the last millennium jam there was a Spanish gentleman who lectured on the bride's made from a 646 centre column, I think I should go and see if I can find his name as he also explained some lovely jewellery which was very nice and different for the time. There are pictures in the events section for the very last millennium jam if you would like to see. I'm assuming these are my version of his technique but would need to view his class sculptures to be 100% certain. The base on the second picture has some added detail.
The bride and groom were made for a fellow magicians wedding that I attended and entertained the children for an hour with my magic show.
This must have been maybe 10 years ago now :o
The jewellery pictures start on page 9, the-millennium-jam-2010-t2152-80.html (http://balloonchat.co.uk/the-millennium-jam-2010-t2152-80.html)
A few more brides I have made over the years,
I made a few variations on the TV Burp image for a photo shoot. Harry was nice and friendly and sat down and chatted for a while.
A few variations on a butterfly theme,
Goodness I do have a few butterfly pictures to post, you might get fed up with them.
A few more butterflies,
I like the face on Buzz, I think simple and effective.
Making some dresses with Colin Myles for a celebration party at the Café Royal, I think it was 30 dresses for the waitresses to wear.
There wear other sculptures made as well.
Wow all those dresses and pigs!!
The dresses finished and reading to go,
The camel that was built when Thelma and I had a jam session.
Captain America that I helped David Crofts build for the art gallery party.
The car that we all built from the Robbie day.
Onto the racing cars now, I think the first car is on model of the month with full instructions on how to make it if anyone would like to?
Some variations on the formula one racing car.
The ride in car was made for a Christmas event where I was twisting around the tables, this was a few years ago now.
It made me smile the gold dog on the front of the bonnet.
I put the cartoon's into my portfolio and have posted again as I think they are great, make me smile every time I see them :D
John Anscombe did them all for me,
The last two to show,
The one balloon cat is on a dvd called one balloon wonders or just catch me at an event and I will be happy to show you how to make it.
Love it all Graham. The cartoons are hilarious. :-)
Another one balloon cat from a 160 balloon.
Daniel showed the chair at a care & share day in Manchester a few years back. We made the chair at Blackpool magic convention with a beer and a remote for the man who has everything. It did take us a while to persuade people to sit in it, no one thought it would hold their weight.
We did get a few people to try the chair out in Blackpool.
The Chandelier was made for a shop window display to coincide with London fashion week, the colour scheme was just Fuchsia and Orange which was the company's colours.
The Cheetah was made from the CD instructions from Bonnie Davis, any of Bonnie's CD's are well worth a view.
Not sure where or why the first chicken was made, maybe a quicker variation on David's weaved chicken in a basket.
The Chicken basket was made at a Bristol care & share day where David Crofts was the lecturer and all day he did very and I mean very corny jokes about chicken's.........
but it was a very fun day.
The flower pot man, this was in China, we had to do a parade every day to promote the festival so I walked around the city as a flower pot.
The things people do ;) It was a lot of fun.
love the cartoon with the funeral
Some Christmas themed balloons, the second one is my Christmas card that I send out to customers.
Some pictures from a comic relief photo shoot a few years back now.
More from the photo shoot,
More from the photo shoot,
Carrying on the sculptures from the photo shoot,
I did not realise I had so many pictures from the shoot,
Some of the stands that Thelma and I have made up over the years at the different conventions we have attended.
The first picture I think was at either Scarbourough or Southport, the second time I attended a convention as a dealer.
The last two pictures I think this was at Eastbourne about 3 years ago?
Getting onto the cows that we helped to build with David and Michal,
The cow in my hall and then the barn and finally the field for shooting the commercial,
The crown was made for a jubilee celebration a couple of years ago,
it was meant to sit outside but the day was so windy it had to be moved in as it was taking off from the table it was sat on.
The cup was made at a magic convention, they award a prize to the best magic stand so we are never sure if we are considered for this as we sell balloons so we just made our own one,
it made us smile and was a bit of a laugh. The magic organisation is the (IBM) International Brotherhood of Magicians so we thought the International Balloon Makers (IBM) was fun,
well at the time we did. Not sure I'm rolling on the floor laughing now :) ;)
The dino eating the person idea came from a Bonnie Davis CD that I purchased, they are well worth looking at for inspiration and have some excellent models on.
I have so many dog pictures in the portfolio that I will just post a few of them,
The scottie was made a long time ago and for some reason I like the style of the simple basic sausage dog.
There is a big selection of dogs to post,
Love the bride with the 660 and the stage photos and the musical instruments and your Christmas card models and and and
Quote from: "Thelma Levett"Love the bride with the 660 and the stage photos and the musical instruments and your Christmas card models and and and
Thanks Thelma :)
There are so many dogs,
I thought I'd post a few more so we can get onto the balloon dress's sooner.
The dogs are over and it's onto dolls now,
A few more I stored under dolls, not sure why. I'm expecting there will be a lot more under princess later to be posted.
The head of Snow White I think would have been better with a 350 blush face and not a 260.
A few dolphin's,
A door knocker and some doves,
Some dress's from a little while back, the dress Thelma is wearing is the very first one she made, it was a combined effort and fun to make.
Sue in the last picture walked around the Blackpool magic convention to promote our balloon stand, she got a lot of attention and appeared in the local paper as well.
The drum kit was made for a pop video, this is it, Parka and Disco Dancer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVoEmH_VoM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVoEmH_VoM)
I made Donald as I had an enquiry for some Disney centre pieces, then they changed their minds. It was fun to make and I found Donald to be a bit of a challenge for his face, well beak actually. If you look at the thread on the forum I think I tried 3/4 variations and not 100% happy with either.
I believe we were at the Eastbourne magic convention for the second two pictures, on the stand next to us was Micky and Adam and the gang.
We are onto the E's now, I think Eeyore was a design from Patricia Bunnell
Last few Elephants,
Pictures from the Esquire gold collection photo shoot that Thelma and I were booked for,
The foot side ways on and as it appeared in the magazine,
As we made the pieces and as they appeared in the magazine, I would like to say that the people at the shoot for Esquire magazine made Thelma and I so welcome.
The nibbles and food and refreshments...........it was a day to remember and then there were the stairs, ;)
The middle picture is one I have to say I do dis-like. I think the hand could have been shown so much better but then it's the bag that they wanted to show, not the balloon art!
More from the photo shoot,
A few faces,
Wow !! I love this thread!
Thank you!!
The magazine shoot must have been quite a wonderful time. So were the stairs numerous or narrow?
Quote from: "FuDD"So were the stairs numerous or narrow?
It was funnier than that, well at the time it was, it had something to do with balancing ;)
A few christmasy ones,
I rather like the fish hat for some reason, it only got made 2/3 times, it nearly made it onto my DVD, "Just hats" but got cut the last minute.
I think it looked better when I made it all in Orange but unable to find that picture at the moment. The tail of the fish was made from a shield design.
Funny how when I was making the shield I thought...........Fish tail and went off at a tangent again.
I have so many Flowers in my portfolio that I think I'd better post double the amount everyday otherwise you and I both might get a little fed up with the "F" for Flowers section.
Thelma and I were experimenting with the real flowers inside the balloons and decided to have the water flowing down the outside of the balloon for artistic impression.
The single rose inside the round balloon, to me this is so poignant.
This is one of my all time favourite pictures, it was taken when Thelma and I were working on the ides for the DVD "It's Quicker by Tube"
I love the way the sky is reflecting via the mirror and the flower also attached to the mirror, not sure why but I have always liked this picture, it does it for me.
I think it deserves to be on it's own post,
All these flowers were put into the balloons using the technique that is shown on the DVD.
A few more,
A few more using the technique,
Some balloon flowers now, will make a change.
Not sure why but I love the middle picture, just something about it.
Saying goodbye to a friend,
I Know :o more flowers, the second picture is where I got the idea for the origami rose that is on my DVD 3 "A Romantic Twist"
The first picture was used for the TV programme, A Question of Sport, the mystery guest was making some balloon models.
Carrying on with flowers,
Oh NO!!!!! Still flowers,
:D We got past flowers, now onto friends, with David Grist at one of the millennium jams,
Some more friends from the millennium jam, Diane, Shirley and Brenda. Brenda is one of the original macaroni girls :)
Now when was the crazy frog famous? Might be 10 years ago now?
Carrying on with the portfolio collection,
The first picture was made on a holiday I went with Val, Pearse and Lyn. We went on a caravan holiday, Pearse, Val and Lyn went to bingo one night and I made a full size pop up balloon girl and put it in Pearse's bed. I rigged it so that when he pulled the covers back it sat up in bed. It worked a treat but I never took a picture, we were laughing so much. It was a fun holiday, we have spent a few with them and have had a good time.
A few pictures of myself are on there way as we are at G is for....................,
Some fun pictures from around the world, I think we won 1 cent and $2 on the gambling machines in Vegas. It was a fun night though and a good laugh.
Thelma took this picture of me when we were making the giraffe and formula 1 racing car a few months back.
I think the scissors and hairbrush were made for a balloon game on the forum,
The hand was made for the pop video I made with Parka, I have added the link before but just in case anyone missed it, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVoEmH_VoM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVoEmH_VoM)
A little selection of handbags,
You are very diverse. Its nice to look and see your stuff Graham. Right from the tiny stuff to the big. So I have a question. What is your favourite from these pictures?
Quote from: "Thelma Levett"You are very diverse. Its nice to look and see your stuff Graham. Right from the tiny stuff to the big. So I have a question. What is your favourite from these pictures?
Now I have to go back and look over the 300 odd pictures to pick a favourite ;)
I will go and look now, I might have a few though.
I'm back with so many that I like, there is a bird, Buzz's face, Camel, Giraffe, Dino Head, formula 1 racing car, violin, saxophone, full size bike, basic sausage dog,
dog with dino face, eskimo dog, ducks, feet and hands from the photo shoot for esquire, the flower in balloon, one balloon rose, scissors and alice.
I will have a think and see if I can come up with a short list, off the top of my head, the feet, flower in round balloon and full size bike.
It was a very good question, maybe we could have a thread and everyone could post their favourite balloon model they have made and perhaps say why.
I forgot, I also very much like the two balloon simple handbag. Just something about it that rocks my boat so to speak.
I have rather liked these pictures form the photo shoot, I think they look simple but effective? Possibly but for whatever reason I think they are nice.
The TV burp was made for promoting Harry Hill and his upcoming TV show, the picture also appeared in a national TV magazine.
The hat was made for Harry my grandson 6/7 years ago, I took a picture of the inside of the hat, I think it looks a little artistic.
Thelma was making a window display for the jubilee I think so I played around with the face design for the Queen. The finished window is on Thelma's website.
I have quite a few heart pictures to post, these were made with 6" Link a loons and the instructions put onto my DVD "A Romantic Twist"
I added the picture with myself so that you could see the scale.
A few more heart designs,
There are a few hearts to post so may take a while, the first and last picture were the prototype's for my entry for the millennium jam in 2007.
I ended up using the mirror so that all the heart above gave a vision of depth, it is in the post above.
Some simpler heart designs maybe for the real world,
A few more hearts, and still a few more to add later.
A few more hearts to go still,
Hearts were the hit of the jam last night.
Hope Florida gets warm and sunny for you all very soon!
Still more hearts to post,
Moving on from the hearts,
Some Hippo's, does anyone know what is special about picture three?
The hook twist?
Quote from: "GingerDave"The hook twist?
Nothing to do with how the balloon is made, I normally mention this at every other care & share day.
All balloons are special Graham, don't go choosing favourites!
;)
the first balloon that impressed you and needed to workout how it was made :)
Quote from: "mrwiggle"the first balloon that impressed you and needed to workout how it was made :)
Correct, that one balloon hippo changed my life.
Hippo to rhino,
A few horse pictures,
I think the first horse here is from a Patricia Bunnell DVD,
I think this picture was taken when Leo came over to the UK for a care and share day that Diane gave when she was over from Japan :D
Lovely memories.
Mr Incredible was made for a Disney party where I was twisting in London a little while back now, thinking of it a lot of my work was a little while back now.
The window display I think was made for London Fashion Week, the company colours were pink and orange.
These were made when we were setting up the find a twister section on the forum, we used a variation on picture three which I think is too fussy.
I think if done again I would change the design now.
A few mermaids,
Carrying on with the "M"
Going onto Monkey's now,
The monster truck I built with Colin Myles in Southern Ireland a couple of years back, might be three years ago this March/April.
Minnie looked a little different with the dress made from 6" hearts. The ride in Ostrich was a fun one to make.
For some reason the dress got filed under "P" another mystery of my computer,
A few panda pictures, which is odd as I was playing with another panda design yesterday on another thread,
Moving onto "P"
Plenty of parrot's,
The man was made for the Esquire photo shoot but was not used in the final editing,
Some old publicity shots that I used to use,
Some Pink Panther's,
These were made for a TV show in the UK, "A Question of Sport" for the mystery guest who was balloon modelling. The pirate is a Ken Stillman idea, thanks Ken.
Now the planes, the large one was built in Eire when Colin and I were working in the school for the Easter project that they had. It was a blast and most enjoyable.
Happy memories,
A few more planes,
These pictures are from the pop video made by Parka a good few years ago now, will have a look and see if I can find the link to the video on you tube.
This is the link to disco dancer the record from Parka, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVoEmH_VoM (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVoEmH_VoM)
I have quite a few princess designs so will try and choose just a few to post here, the classic Ken Stillman design with picture two.
Carrying on the theme,
The punch and judy booth was made with Caroline, Bubbles the clown who is now Bubblz maths, I think.
There was 3/4 of us working on this, we are talking years ago, maybe 10 even, wow that long ago!!
Moving onto "R" and I have plenty of rabbit's to post,
A few more rabbits to go,
Looks like there will be rabbits for a few more days yet,
I'm sure many will be pleased to know that these are the last few rabbit's,
I like rabbit 8 and rabbit 14 best.
Quote from: "Thelma Levett"I like rabbit 8 and rabbit 14 best.
You like number eight Thelma as you painted it at euro jam for me :) I like the look of number eleven.
Racing cars,
A cheery start to the day with the grim reaper :)
The rose was from a book by Ralph Dewey some 22/25 years ago, I did change it a little but the book is well worth getting. There are some little gems out there.
Back from Blackpool so carrying on with the portfolio pictures,
Some variations on a scooter theme,
Like the tassles to finish the handles.
A few more designs made over the years,
The ship was made for the TV show, a question of sport. It was for the mystery guest section.
We are onto shoes now, I do have a few and some were made with Thelma, we had a day session and all we made were shoes,
I think the last picture is one of Thelma's designs,
More shoes,
Even more shoes, I think we did put a thread on the forum with even more shoe designs.
That was a fun day making the shoes. I don't think any of these was mine. It was good playing with the ideas and pooling out different styles though.
I think the dark blue one was the result of that.
This was made with Michal a few years ago,
Spending too long in front of the computer working on balloon chat is not good for your health :)
Seems I'm into snails, there are a few to post,
A slightly different head configuration on the first two snails,
The snails were made with Thelma when she stayed a few days.
The spaceman was a variation of a model of the month that Dennis set, I think a while back now.
Have you noticed everything seems a while back to me nowadays?
A few variations on a theme,
I quite like the spider but think this is the only time I have made it.
The spitfire was the first large model I built, the sign on the side says GL2 as I build this with Gerry Luff and we both have the same initials.
Another piece of useless information :) ;) You can just see the scrap balloons on the wings to put the plane onto the ceiling so people looked up to view it.
Wow! I love that plane! That's awesome!
Quote from: "Tonya"Wow! I love that plane! That's awesome!
Thanks Tonya and it's nice to have you back modelling again :)
thanks Graham...it feels good to be back :D
I have a few pictures of the stand's Thelma and I have worked at the magic conventions over the years with slightly different themes,
More pictures of our stand at the various shows we attend.
Blimey looks like I have a few pictures of the stand at various events over the years, the models may inspire someone to try something.
One never knows where inspiration comes from.
I love the flower bubble balloon columns, what a neat idea! Darn you, Graham! Now I want to order more balloons in bigger sizes and shapes so I can try them too! LOL! :D
Tonya watch out there maybe some more balloons for you to buy? Just had a good look and I think you will be Ok with these pictures. :)
when my hubby gets cranky with me for spending so much on balloons, I'm going to tell him it's all your fault for enticing me with such eye candy. You so know my weakness...lol ;) :D
Quote from: "Tonya"when my hubby gets cranky with me for spending so much on balloons, I'm going to tell him it's all your fault for enticing me with such eye candy. You so know my weakness...lol ;) :D
It's not my fault.......honest :)
The last two stands,
Some more large and small sculptures, the super hero's were built with Davis Crofts and the sweet man with Colin Myles.
PS, I built the Swan all on my own ;)
The girl on the swing was made with Colin Myles in Ireland.
The tattler advert was run a while back and relied rather a lot on photo shop editing, still it was an experience to do and they made me most welcome.
The first of quite a few teddies to add,
Quite a few teddies to post, the last one Kevin showed at a Care & Share day In Exeter, I think last year.
The super hero was made nearly 10 years ago, funny really as I helped David Crofts build 50 of these yesterday
The larger Tigger is a design by Thelma Levett, I think I made the body a little too long.
I thought a titanic hat might be fun?
Getting near to the end of the list although I do have a portfolio 2 folder as well.
A few variations on Tweety,
Getting down to the last few balloons now in portfolio one,
I was involved with a very unusual pop video a while back, it was fun to do but a little strange. I have other pictures to post from the event.
This was a very strange photo shoot,
lol...looks like a very strange photo shoot...lol.
I am loving all your pictures Graham, thanks for sharing them.
The Violin was made for a comic relief photo shoot and everything had to be mainly Red.
These pictures appeared in Vogue Russia, they were all a picture to a page, my web guy made them into a collage.
Some of the jewellery was worth millions, lot's of security guards were about during the day.
The bride and groom were made for people to stand behind, attempt two I made a wall as well. Will post that picture tomorrow.
Not many more to go, nearly at "Z"
Quote from: "Graham Lee"The bride and groom were made for people to stand behind, attempt two I made a wall as well. Will post that picture tomorrow.
Not many more to go, nearly at "Z"
Wedding1 is my favorite, but Wedding2 is really nice too. :D
Quote from: "Graham Lee"Quote from: "Thelma Levett"I like rabbit 8 and rabbit 14 best.
You like number eight Thelma as you painted it at euro jam for me :) I like the look of number eleven.
All three of those are the top picks for me, but I like the shape of the head of number 11. Number 14 is really cute for a snuggly bunny.
I made these for my daughter Kelly's wedding, the only time I have done any décor work.
love all the wedding stuff Graham, beautifully done. I really like the photo opp bride and groom, what a fun idea. :-)
Love looking in on this thread Graham!
Someone did that same wall with bride/groom set at WBC this year. I saw it on display for the Festival Of Balloons on the last day. I did not get a picture of it before one of the family's took it away..As I was twisting all the while !!!
I got the idea from David Grist, it was published a while back and David used SDS framing. Ken Stillman has also been using it lately as well, at the Florida superjam and I have also seen pictures of his work from other conventions on the good old t'internet. I think this was made six years ago, I should remember when my daughter got married
I have been updating my portfolio folder, when I post onto balloon chat I have 21 folders that have all the pictures in. I'm working my way through and have I'm up to folder 17 so another 5 to do. I then have to rename all the pictures in the portfolio folder as some are banstead 32, Birmingham 345 etc etc. I will then try to go through and add all the latest pictures over the past, wow just looked, this thread is nearly a year old from the last post.
So I will update sometime soon'ish
I will be updating this thread as it's been nearly a year since I posted.
Adding pictures to my portfolio thread, hoping not to duplicate any.
The baby was shown at a care and share day by Rob Driscoll and I was commissioned by Patrick van de Ven to make one of his little guys.
So here are some variations on a theme for Barney, not sure which one is the original.
Some more of Barney with a dinosaur.
I prefer this dinosaur with Barney,
The Robin was up scaled from Twistina's care & share day in Birmingham.
A couple of brides.
Betty Boop who will be on my new DVD on geo's..........coming sometime soon'ish
Camera that I think was made for a competition here on balloon chat and a couple of Mr Lightyear.
A few variations on a car theme.
My favourite racing car. This is a model of the month with full instructions on how to make it. model-the-month-november-2012-formula-racing-car-t6212.html (http://balloonchat.co.uk/model-the-month-november-2012-formula-racing-car-t6212.html)
I'm not sure if I did post this picture of Alice with Alice. It was a while ago now. I like the ballerina as to me she has movement.
I made the batman figures at a workshop given by Daz Cooper, he has a very distinctive style. The ears are slightly different on each sculpture.
Thought I would try to merge my portfolio one and portfolio 2 albums and add to this thread.
Trying to get back into alphabetical order, I think I will from "D"
I like the construction of the body for buzz here, a nice simple car and a variation on a chicken that I think Kevin showed at the macaroni girls workshop.
I think the convention was Yarmouth a few years back, the cockatoo's that I made probably just for fun or after Thelma's workshop where she showed a really real world cockatoo.
Graham, what balloon do you use for the wheels on the race car, is it a 350, 5" round or ??????
Quote from: "Woblee"Graham, what balloon do you use for the wheels on the race car, is it a 350, 5" round or ??????
It is a 350 tulip'ed and split in two, you get both wheels from one 350.
Thanks Graham, I'm going to give it a go.

I started another thread with some variations on the car, it is here, easy-racing-car-t9827.html (http://balloonchat.co.uk/easy-racing-car-t9827.html)
Just updating the portfolio again, a few pictures from yester year. Still Yarmouth but we tried to change the stand every day a little.
I have been updating my portfolio folder, when I post onto the forum I save the pictures into a separate folder. At the moment I have 28 of them.
I moved over the first 10 folders a couple of years back so have been updating and saving the better sculptures to the one folder.
Up to folder 20 now so have another eight to do, then I have to re-name all the pictures as many were saved as leeds 12, Eastbourne 37, b8 etc etc.
It will keep me busy for a little while.
memory jog
Thanks for sharing your work!!
Some great ideas there Graham. ;)
I added the memory jog as I have been updating my portfolio album and it
took me a while to find this thread on the forum.
I will try to update it a little but not and not double up on too many designs.
I'm onto folder 35 now and all sort of up to date. There were over 2000 pictures in the portfolio,
I have cut that down to 700 now and will try to put onto my ipad and take to the balloon days/events
that I attend so people can view if they would like too.
I will try to update this thread, the last time I posted was way back
in March 2015 so will look at pictures that I have posted from
then and add here to keep all in one place.
From 2015
Just trying to update this thread.

This was made for a few people, there was a joke going about that I was
the Cadburys milk tray man and would abseil down to peoples bedrooms.
I have no idea how this came about but was funny for a while for
the select few who were in on the joke.
So we made the grappling hook, box of milk tray, the rose etc.
