Have just returned from working at the Glastonbury Festival (not on the entertainment side of things at all) and bought some balloons along with me to play with if I had a minute.

I did have some minutes (some of them spent in the Kidz field chatting with the lovely Russell!)  I made my hat and walked all over the site and have never felt like such a D lister celebrity!  Loads of people smiling, pointing, laughing, taking pictures, asking to buy one etc!  And I didn't look out of place.  When you see your bank manager wearing a sumo leotard with tassels and feathers in his hair, it just proves that anything goes there...(it wasn't pleasant!)

The following day, I was making some one balloon quick creations between bands and a man said "You do balloons?  I saw the best one I have ever seen yesterday.  It was a hat of a muppet look a like playing a guitar!"  Fantastic!  I've been smiling ever since!  It's like writing a song and having your lyrics sang back to you.

I should imagine that you fantastically talented people get these comments all of the time.  Don't ever get bored of them!  I've not been doing these for 12 months yet.  Still have a lot to learn but am loving every second.  What a laugh!  :D

How fantastic! Whenever I pluck up the courage to wear my own creations I never regret it!
