Title: Pig
Post by: Graham Lee on July 26, 2015, 08:48:56 AM
I was trying to make a pig for the real world the other day, I think it was Friday, did not have much success.
This is your standard 1 balloon pig so I up scaled it with 350's but was still looking for something a little extra, I think we can safely say it's still a work in progress.
Does anyone have a pig design?

A few more that I tried. I think the last one looks a little hippo like?

I have not been asked for a pig for ages, then Friday at a wedding I was asked, so I made the one from David Brenion's Hearts and Rounds DVD.

Going about it a completely different way, last Summer I was working a Music and Cider Festival on a farm, and made this pig, to put on the front of their pen  :D

There was chat on facebook about pig designs tonight so I had another play, the 160 underneath the snout is meant to be the mouth but I don't think it works as is.

Took it off in picture three, I liked the construction of the face.

Changed the face a little.

I tried having a go just now, and thought of twisting 2 little 160 tulip twists into a 350 snout. When I made a quick head, somehow it seemed to look more horse than pig.

I then went along a different route, and came up with this more cartoon "Porky Pig" style head

Here is a pig I made the other day.  I would love to find an easy way to make a more realistic nose.0203172139a-1.jpg[/attachment:i70ap250]

cute little pig Graham.  Is that an ear twist for the nose?  I wouldn't have thought to try it that way.

The balloon ended up at the nose section so I deflated it a little and made
a tulip/apple twist and put it to one side, so it's a gone wrong tulip/apple twist.

I have made a pig with the ear twist for the nose,
not sure it's posted here though so off to look for the picture.

A one balloon pig, this is my variation on the one balloon design that was shown
on the balloon blast video show..............now what episode?

It was the episode with I think Balloonski BUT I did not make a note.
Perhaps a good reason to go and view all of them?
or maybe Danny might re-call?
