I have been fiddling around with some Simpsons characters based on the inspiring work of Jack the Balloon and Magic Guy (http://jackmagic1.balloonhq.com/).  Here's What I've got so far!

Dave, They are nice models.  I have done a Homer Simpson before but it was fiddly.  Yours is very practical and looks the business.  This is the first time I have seen anyone do Mr Burns.  As he would say "Exxxxcellent"

Thanks Thelma, but both Homer and Mr Burns are based on designs by Jack.   So I cant take credit for them "looking the business".

Love the Simpsons heads David, thanks for sharing. At Diamond Jam this year, someone made this fabulous Mr Burns Hat. I am fairly sure that it must be Jack's as there is one in his portfolio as highlighted by David. Not only is it instantly recognisable as Mr Burns, it captures perfectly the Burns learing attitude!

I an going to have to do that Mr Burns, it is fantatstic, when I have it down I will take it into work, my boss is the spitting image of Mr Burns, he may not like it but everyone else will, perhaps a day when he is not in may be the best time to do it  :lol:  :twisted:

Hello all.  That picture from Diamond Jam was a hat I made for the dinner that night.  I think thats my hand holding it too;)  This is a hat I enjoy making for older men who have the look on their face of "I will not accept any balloon given to me."  They ALWAYS take this one!  
For anyone attending Twist and Shout 09, I will be holding a private class on Sunday morning teaching these designs.  Unless Chester beats me to it..... :roll:
