Title: Super Hero
Post by: Graham Lee on March 12, 2018, 03:53:25 PM
I had a super hero party over the weekend so made up a couple of choices.

A couple of swords.

The party was entitled Wonder Woman and Super Hero.
So this was Wonder Woman,
a few variations as the hardest thing I found was the neck/chest area.

This is what we went with and then on the day a little girl wanted
Super Girl so I made a variation, will post that later.

Ooops, we went with the blush neck not this one.
Perhaps I did not get a picture, off to look.

Then Spider-Man and I did change the blue under the head to
Red on the day and also the pinch twists went red as well.
I got it muddled up here, not a lover of the printed head design.
It needs to be printed larger on the balloon, having said that the boys
did like the design and it was asked for. Sometimes we are too critical.

I know the hulk is not a super hero, no one queried it on the day.
Some body variations.

Then it was printed head or not. The one I drew looks like a turtle face.

I have to disagree, the hulk IS a superhero :D

According to the www.ranker.com (http://www.ranker.com) ultimate top 100 list of Superheroes he comes in at number 8 which is 2 places higher than Wonder woman.

Thanks Rob, they do say you learn something every day
although I'm still not sure he is what I think as a super hero.

A variation on the sword and Super Girl.
The neckline is how I also made Wonder Woman but did not get a photo.

At the event I made Spider-Man like this but with 260's for the arms.
Just trying a variation.

I think the print is a little small so added to it.
Then went over the already printed section.

Out of interest what is your idea of a super hero?

According to the dictionary
superhero - a benevolent fictional character with superhuman powers.

Marvin Hardy, They say without Marvin there would be no balloon modelling now as we know it.

Dave Bartlett, A funny US clown and balloon artiste.

Colin Myles, Who helped me overcome my fear of flying and makes some amazing detailed designs.

Jean Merlin, They say was one of the first people with a balloon show.
He lectured at The Millennium Jam one year and had three back ups for each effect
in case anything went wrong. Got a standing ovation.

Thelma Levett, Some nutter who lives in Birmingham  ;)

Willie Monro, The amount of magic tricks he performs with balloons, a joy to watch and a lovely guy.

Leo Verlinden, Mr "Millennium Jam" possibly should be on everyone's super hero list.
The Millennium Jam will always have a special place in my heart.

Marvin Roy, I saw this magic act and he just had that special thing, that "It" that makes someone stand out.

Pearse Halpenny, Many will know as Michael Pearse, that old boy who juggles and tells jokes.
Just a genius and super nice all round great guy.

David Crofts, My work buddy and Twisting Twin and a myth in the balloon world.
