Hi all I hope you dont mind me posting this on here, I am hoping to attract as many twisters as painters to come along and have fun.

It is an official FACE association fun day, there will be two retailers to tempt us with lots of facepainting goodies, Body Painting demos, Henna demos, temporary tattoo demos and lots more for the whole family.

I am hoping that one of you fine twisters would be able to come along and hold a basic twisting demo, with the intention of an informal twisting session.  If any of you are interested please can you message me or tx me 07834538943.

Location is Balne N Yorkshire DN14 0ep, Date thursday 28th May 2009,  time 11 till late, there is lots of room to camp if you want to stay over, please let me know if you would like to come down. if you face book mailto:whitfield_cheryl@hotmail.com">whitfield_cheryl@hotmail.com then i can keep you uptodate via that along with the rest of the people who are coming.

Hope to hear from you (i will be at the leeds care share next week so hope to meet some local twisters there)

just a thought, would you actually encourage children to wear a necklace made from balloons? adults yes ok but personally would not really be happy to give a child a balloon necklace to wear, even with a wrist wearable, i prefer to not knot the band but to slip it in and friction hold it together. am i being way too health and safety conscious?

once on a quiet job to advertise myself i did very simple ladybirds and slid a card between body and legs then gave out to kids, mum dad took the card and put it away and child kept ladybug turtle etc on the wrist, this way you dont feel like you are thrusting card upon unwilling recipients.  child gets a little something parents thinks oh how lovely.  winner all round.
