Hi Kenny, yes keeping busy and well thanks!
I have the globes in my glass display cabinet and am monitoring how long they last! The bases are double stuffed so that should help a bit with longevity.

I like the idea of glow in the dark, may give that a try in future!

Balloon Chit Chat / Re: Qualatex/Sempertex Websites
December 30, 2014, 05:33:11 PM
Just wanted to thank Graham and Lynn for the excellent service I received concerning my order from the www.balloonartwholesale.co.uk site.
Less than 10 days before Christmas, I was alarmed and embarrassed to find out that I would not have enough red and white 260s to see me though my Christmas bookings! I need not have worried, I placed my order in the afternoon and received it the very next morning. Thanks! :D

Quote from: "Graham Lee"Yes my web guy told me about this a few weeks back, so if you manually email them the files all is OK?

Yes as I understand it,  according to "Examples of electronic supplies and whether or not they are 'digital services'" under section 2 of

A new EU law that comes in to effect on the 1st of January, which I ONLY JUST HEARD ABOUT will make it unviable for me to sell my PDF instructions via instant download. I know some of you also sell PDF's or videos via instant download and should make sure you get the facts. If you manually email files, you are not affected by this law, only if you sell with  automatic instant downloads or links to an instant download.

There is NO minimum exemption threshold,  :o  :o  :o  if you sell only one digital item, you are liable!!

This will mean registering for VAT for all EU sales,  obtaining and retaining the necessary proof of evidence of customers country of residence which BTW means you also have to get involved in Data protection, (more red tape and cost) and also submitting VAT returns every quarter. Most of my sales are outside of the EU (or in the UK) which are both exempt but the onus of proof of this lies with me as the seller. It possible for a buyer to lie about their country of residence and at present, my software that I use for sales (E-Junkie) has no function to deal with this. As I understand it, I could be challenged at any time to prove all my sales are out side the EU or in the UK, and I will be breaking the law if I can't.  :(  :(  :(

PLEASE SIGN and SHARE THE PETITION to help to persuade Vince Cable to uphold the VAT exemption threshold, therefore protecting micro businesses and sole traders from this ludicrous law

Here is just one of the designs I will be teaching, A large Mickey or Minnie Mouse head that you can add to a twisted or décor body, or column etc.

Lovely to see all the different versions of Elsa!
Here is one of mine that stands 24" tall and uses 2 x 350's for the dress. A quick design but I think the artwork nearly took as long the rest put together! My fault, I enjoy the artwork!

Thanks Graham and also for phoning me in person. It was a surprise and an honour to learn from Dewey a couple of weeks ago, I had been selected as "Twister of the Year." Very exciting, but I was sworn to secrecy till the official announcement!
Many congratulations to Nao Osaka and Alberto Nava for their "Dewzie" awards too.

Have been shamefully slack on posting on Balloon Chat lately   I will try to be more productive in future!
Here is my last creation of 2013, a reminder that spring is hopefully just around the corner!
