Balloon Decor / How to wieght it down
April 26, 2010, 06:22:21 PM
Hey all,
I'm trying to find a way to get this figure to stand up. First let me tell you what Iv'e tried.
1. I used glue dots
After an hour the bottom balloon (grass) came undone.
2. I tried rubber cement which just popped the balloon after a few minutes
3. I tried to figure out the cd disk base, but unable to get it done into balloon ( weak hands I guess.
It is a sculpture with a flat bottom which needs to remain flat as you can see by the picture.
Graham gave me this idea and I think I'm going to incorporate it into my other idea. Thanks Graham.
Anyone have any ideas on how to. Much appreciated.

Whooooo Hooooo, I can now get the pictures in the forum. I'm a happy camper.
After downloading two different programs. And here's the kicker once I changed my pictures to open in another program. Gazam I had a resize option. And I thought I was computer savy NOT. But, heck I am smiling.

I downloaded AVS image converter that was suppose to deal with this issue that I'm having with posting pictures and well it's not working. My pictures are just to big to many mega bites I believe that is what it's called. And I don't know how to make them smaller in the picture gallery. If anyone knows if there is a way to copy and paste let me know please. Thanks

Oh my. I have some kind of zip file thing. Don't ask I don't know lol. But anyway, I put it in the zip file and uploaded it seemed to work. Hopefully it works on the other end.
Oh darn it. Looks like once it's in you have to download it. Grrrr. I guess I'm going to have to find something to adjust these pic's.

Hello,
Just thought I would introduce myself. Go by name of Shirl aka Twisted Sister. Wow! Love this site I'm finding so many cool balloons and ideas it amazing. Glad to be hear. I was a professional clown for 11 yrs and went by the name of Bonkers.
I stopped twisting for about 15 yrs or so and recently have started again. I'm having a good time with it again and man have things changed. Way back when there wasn't the techniques out there that there are today. Even with all the years experience I have I still somehow feel so behind. Nice to be here.
