Balloon Decor / Where to start decorating?
January 22, 2011, 08:52:05 PM
Hi!
I want to take a first look into the world of decorating. Are there any DVDs or books especially for beginners (where to learn all the basics)?

Thanks for your help!

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Balloon Menu
January 09, 2011, 09:31:00 AM
Hi!
I want to create some balloon menus.
Something like I've seen here: http://www.twistedchickenballoons.com/b ... menus.html

I would like to know your opinion/experience:
What is the best way to do it? Using pictures of the balloon models (e.g. a balloon dog, a balloon cat...) or using original pictures of the animals (e.g. a real dog, a real cat...) or using drawings/cartoon pictures (e.g. a cartoon dog, a cartoon cat...)?

Balloon Decor / www.balloon-training-online.com

Does anyone know this site (http://www.balloon-training-online.com) and especially it's content after paying such a price?

Carsten

Edited by Graham Lee Admin, please note the remarks below are not associated with the company above.

PS:
Mark (Bad to the Balloon) has taken a look inside this one http://www.balloondecorsecrets.com and wrote at another forum this statement:

"I got it 41 pages of crap you can find on the internet.
The "instructional drawings" suck.... Talks about putting together quads while showing 3 balloons.... huh?"

So BEWARE of that !

Hi!
Does anyone know if it is possible to pay the Balloon Magic Magazine subscription (or to buy older issues) with PayPal? I am from Germany and I don't want to pay with money order. I haven't found that information on the website and I got no response to my email.

Latex Laughs / Pet Cemetery? The solution!
January 01, 2011, 07:49:56 PM
Hi!
Since I am modelling balloons (a few months ago) I have discussions with my wife where to place all those balloon animals I've twisted for practice. At the moment I have one "pet cemetery" behind our couch and another in the basment.  :o

She isn't really amused about that. Over the last days I thought about a solution. And I found one. I think it is effective (in "decreasing" ballons) and secure (because of our children).

Here it is:
THE BALLOON FAKIR[/size]

You know this problem?! Many balloons and no place where to keep them?

Here is the solution! Looks somehow unspectacular?!

Wait, wait! Take a closer look. The Balloon Fakir (TM) has an opening. But what's inside?

Balloon Tutorial & Help / Using the breath as a technique
December 30, 2010, 03:18:30 PM
Hi!
I've watched an older video tape with Bob Wooding. He explained a technique using the breath for shaping balloons. He bended and exhaled on parts of the balloon and those parts kept in place. I suggest it was because of the temperature (warm breath). Am I right?

And is this a common technique these days? Why didn't he shaped the balloon (e.g.) with squeezing? Where is the difference?

Thanks,
Carsten
