Picture Gallery / Captain Underpants

I saw a nice Captain Underpants by Chris Burch that I think used a Heart for his top torso.
So it inspired me to have a go, slightly changed the cloak to over his arms in
second picture. Then added some artwork.

Balloon Chit Chat / Pictures 2018

On Tuesday I went through all my old picture folders from 2018 and surprised myself with some
designs I had not made into Model of the Month or onto BalloonTube. I also found some I'd
like to revisit and change a little so it was a few hours well spent. I'm going to write the
designs here as I know I will lose the piece of paper I have written them down on.

Balloon Chit Chat / Zoom Balloon Workshops

I'm looking into running some Zoom online balloon workshops. I'm doing a couple of trial ones this week,
and if all goes OK I will then purchase the Zoom Pro and offer up to 90 minute sessions.
The plan is to have a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 10 to keep it small and intimate.
Plus I think that would be a manageable number and a better learning experience,
the sessions would be £10 each and would include VAT.
You can claim this back on your yearly accounts.
If all goes to plan the first workshop will be on a Valentines Day design.
Any thoughts and comments most welcome 😁

As I have been making the Roses lately I then thought we should perhaps incorporate them into a design.

I started off making a guy design and changed it about a little, the first one he is top heavy and too chunky.
I prefer the jacket on the taller one but his arms are too short so will make a little longer next time

I have just made a Poodle for the Challenge thread Danielle and I do and will post that later
but decided to try a simpler design, not to keen on the way it looks at the moment.
Definitely a works in progress, he he.
I liked the body and feet etc, it was the head structure that I struggled with.

I have been having a tidy up of my balloon photo collection and taking a look at some
designs we would like to have a go at for the challenge thread for this year.
We are back to our old friend, Masayoshi Matsumoto for the Poodle design,

I was having a play with Antonio's one balloon heart design again and made some variations on a theme.
The Orange heart I believe is the one I made from Antonio's workshop, it was two tears ago now so guessing a little.
The two I made are from two balloons and double thickness.

We were discussing Roses the other day and I mentioned I don't really have a go to Rose that I use.
So there was the next day and a half making Roses, ended up with over 15 variations on a theme.
Some had potential and some went straight to the bin
As I made so many I'm not sure in what order they were made to get to the final design.

Model Of The Month / January Model of the Month (Jet Plane)

I have gone with the Jet as the model of the month. I first made the design way back in December 2016.
Not sue how its missed out this long on being model of the month.
I might have tweaked it a little since then but looking back at the pictures it looks very similar.
If anyone would like to help out then we have started up the "Buy Me A Coffee"
page where you can buy a coffee or two or even more if you would like.

I keep changing the size of the wings, these ones here are 9 and 6 finger bubbles.
I will post some pictures at the end where they are 12 and 6 and then 8 and 5.
You have to choose the look you prefer.

I had to quickly make a Jet plane for a birthday celebration.
So made two variations, was not keen on the look of the nose cone for the larger Jet.

Sally sent me a picture of the star so we made it in 160, 260 and 350.
