Just have to say this somewhere!  I couldn't get to be at the wonderful event organised in Southern Ireland with Sue Bowler and Robbie........gutted!!!!!!!  It would have been my very first event, think I need to cry!!!  Missed it all!!!!!

I am booked to do a Fun Day in August and this will be the first time I have done an event of this kind. I have been doing parties and event decor up to now so have no idea of what to expect.  I know you all are greatly experienced in this area so would be grateful for any advice you think would be helpful, things you have encountered and learned from etc.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

Does anyone know where I can buy the gorgeous eyes to stick on models...I saw lovely great big ones on a picture somewhere that would be perfect for mermaids etc.  As I said before I just CANNOT draw for love nor money!!

Just had to say to Sara (Snurb)  that was an absolutely brilliant YouTube video on how to do the rose weave, well explained and demonstrated, I just have not see one better.  I really think I'll be able to get the hang of it now with practice, it has been such a frustrating thing to try and learn up until now; so thank you!!  And thank you for responding so quickly to my request for this too.

I was asked by a husband to make something for his red-haired Scottish wife's 40th birthday at which I was entertaining the kids. Just had to put Nessie in it!
They were very pleased with it but I am the world's worst artist!  Other people hid in the toilets when games or gym was on but I hid during the two excruciating arts & crafts periods!

Hi,
I have to make an Elvis for someone's birthday and it has to be delivered very early Sun morning BUT I have run out of ivory 260's, can anyone suggest an alternative please...help gratefully received.  I know...stupid of me to allow that to happen and now I am panicking!
Tried to double stuff a 260 into a 350 ivory but that didn't seem to work also 160 keeps twisting then bursting.

My first attempt at Elvis. This was for a friend who has smashed her knee and who just loves Elvis. I couldn't find the 160 colours I needed for belt so had to use 260's.

A few adjustments would be in order I think.

I hope someone can advise. Does anyone have the busking bag trolley on the Sempertex Europe site? Can anyone tell me how useful it is; how many balloons it holds etc.  Is a double/triple busking bag better or not?

I wanted to let you know that I just did my first birthday party last week and have through word of mouth a few more to do starting tomorrow (28 April)!  It went very very well I am glad to say despite my being apprehensive.  I love working with kids anyway but the fact that they loved my balloons makes me so happy!!! :lol: Just a beginner and still learning but loving the experience!
