Had a strange experience on my holiday just gone. I heard that Margaritaville (a cafe/bar entertainment venue) were doing balloons of an evening down at Universal City walk in Orlando. Got there and sure enough there were a few stiltwalkers making balloons for everyone. I took mine along as it seemed to be a fun place to be but was told to put them away as they already had entertainers there. I explained I wasn't doing them for tips or anything just wanted to join in but was told no can do! Is this a case of don't step on anyone else's toes or is it normal culture in the USA? Can our American friends help me out with this one as I have made quite a few in other restaraunts, without any balloon modellers there, and without any problems in fact quite the oppisite!
My family and I felt like we were outcasts after this as know one smiled at us, spoke to us or even offered to make my kids a balloon lol. Hence we left after finishing our drinks. Thank god the normal experience over there is thery are normally a whole bunch of friendly peope!

Strange request this one but have been asked to create Louis Armstrong (trumpeter) for an up and coming gig. Any ideas? I'm going to have a go at construcing his face like I did with santa then perhaps put it with a body similar to what Graham uses for his big bride and groom wall. A shove in the right direction would be appreciated however!!

just bought a second hand tels bells prop. I wondered if you magicians out there could help. I cannot operate it with one hand - it's too tight. Does anyone else have or had this problem and what can you do to loosen it?

Once a year I get to mess arouind with the helium on behalf of Butlins in Skeggy to decorate one of the venues. I passed my NABAS course a few years ago but don't do any decorating other than this. I will try to show pics from start to finish.

I have made a quick Rat hat which will hopefully pass. My other attempts are not so good.

i was asked to do a childs digger last week for a birthday party - I kind of got carried away! I found out that the birthday child lived in a 2 bed flat. - oops!
